These days I stream full-time, but I also try to take the time to upload useful "HOW TO" videos on gaming. Hello, I have a question about the lumbar support on the XL and the regular model and it's possibility to adjust it. 🙂 I am relatively tall (6'4 / 193 cm), I could easily take the Titan Evo XL, but I would prefer the "regular", because I have very narrow shoulders and the armrests on the XL are too far apart for me. I measured. How far up can the lumbar support be raised on the regular in comparison to the XL? How many inches / cm can I raise to lumbar support higher on the XL, compared to the regular? Do you understand what I mean? I would appreciate a qualified answer. Greetings, Johannes
The XL has to control knobs (one on each side of the chair. One raises and lowers the lumbar the total length of the back of the chair (minus the head area), and the other knob protrudes the lumbar in and out (to put more or less pressure on your back). Thanks and it did solve the noise, and I also noticed that the chair will self-spin a bit when I sit on it with my feet off the floor, does the broken rubber o-ring causing this issue? and do you receive any reply from secretlab for the o-ring? Once again, thank you for sharing
That i dont. I called SecretLab and asked if they could send me a new washer, and instead they sent me the whole PISTON ASSEMBLY. Kind-of a waste just to fix a rubber washer. Im pretty sure though if you removed it and took it to LOWES/HOME DEPOT, someone at the store could hook you up with something.
ReDragon..I just saw the 990. That has 16 keys on the site. Wish it would be wireless. About Redragon...let's be honest. It's China mass produced and branded for at least dozens of different companies. You see that at the UtechSmart Venus Pro. It's exactly the same. But Redragon has an alright software what most of these China companies don't have. The Logitech...is it even available? the last time I looked for a mouse it wasn't. Trinity? I would always take the Naga Pro. As it's wireless. But then...the Trinity has another sidepanel that appears advanced to the Naga one. (the medium penal so to say) Sadly Naga and Trinity Panels are not compatible with each other. But at the end I'm anyways always using the 12 keys. So it doesn't really matter. What I miss is talking about a 4 way mouse wheel. Or is it nowadays called 4D Mouse Wheel?? The Naga has it and I'm using it often. In games these are two more keys easy to reach. Or...I'm using the Hypershift on them this. So my 12 side penal get another layer of key. That is especially a good place for the Razer Hypershift (other companies has such things, too) as I'm still able to reach nearly all buttons without problems. Another thing...the Redragon. I heard the software sometimes has problems when it comes to setting commands. Does the software has game specific configurations? Or easier...is the mouse compatible with reWASD? If it's not a game from one of the companies that banned reWASD for gaming like EA it's a good software to set up a mouse as it has nearly the same functions as the best mouse software has. SteelSeries...I had bad experiences with Steelseries. I would always recommend the internet about problems. Steelseries shuts problem reports down in their forums. My experience was: If you find something, it probably will happen at one point.
Keep in mind that none of these mice are actually built to last forever. These companies plan to get a little more from you every couple years just to stay in business.
Im old school Everquest player too. still play on Project 1999 and i agree, dont mind the graphics per say - but those animations are meh. Gameplay over Graphics. RUnes of Magic seems like an easy mode P2W game without the charm and difficulty of EQ
My g600 has lasted me over a decade. It's great, but I'm still not a huge fan of the third click button. I never use the gshift button. I love the stubs to know where my fingers are on the bottons. A feature only on the g600 (WHY?!). My dream mouse would be a g600 but fitting in my hands better and upgrading the technical specs like sensor and polling rate, and option for both wired and wireless, etc.
When i first got my G600, i had a problem with my RING FINGER always accidentally pressing that third click button. So I cut a small piece of rubber from a bicycle innertube, and shoved it under that button so it wouldn't click anymore. I wish Logitech would come out with a v2 that eliminates that button. My G600 is now 8 years old and still going strong.
I bought a Scuf Instinct Pro in June of 2022. Five months later, one of the four underside paddles (Scuf calls it Paddle 4) cracked at the narrowest point five months later. I sent it in for repair, which they did and returned in a little under two weeks free of charge. It broke again in the same spot under a year later, followed by the other underside paddle on the opposite side cracking in the exact same place a month or two after that. It's an obvious and frustrating design flaw. Miraculously, using 3/16" wide strips of packing tape (that 2" wide stuff used to tape boxes) that I cut with scissors and strategically placed, worked to fix the problem. The paddles are still cracked, but you can't even tell while playing. It's now August of 2024, and I've been experiencing increasing stick drift on the left thumbstick to the point the controller is practically unusable. I've sent it in for repair, but I expect I'll have to pay this time. One VERY important note. I game A LOT. I've put many 100s of hours into this controller. The stick drift is to be expected, and I have no complaints. In fact, I'm impressed it lasted this long. The paddle cracking on the other hand is my only real complaint, but as I mentioned, the tape totally fixed it. This may sound nuts, but I still like this controller so much, that I seriously considered just buying a new one. I hope the design flaw mentioned in the video that Scuf allegedly fixed is the paddle cracking issue I'm experiencing.
anything over 2 years for a mouse these days is considered BONUS. They don't make mice the way they used to. These companies don't want their mice lasting forever or they would never be able to stay in business. 2 years has become the average life span of most mice, and every now and then one comes out that is better than even the creators thought.

I might be the only one but I don't find the seat all that stiff. What I do find stiff is the backrest. Feels like compressed cardboard. Is this something that will get softer over time or will it always be this stiff?
Well you are partially right. Out of the box, NO, it does not. However, if you use a Brook xb2 dongle ($50), and possibly even the GuliKit Goku dongle ($20), then yes, the Vader 3 Pro will work just fine with the Xbox. I did not realize that until after the fact, and should have mentioned it in the video - so that's on me - and my apologies for any confusion.
The razer trinity was my favorite mouse, but now im on my 3rd one with buttons giving out double click or not holding click and mouse wheel not stopping from activation. It looks amazing, and when it's new, it works like a charm, but last me, about a year to two years and my old naga hex lasted me 7 years giving it back to my dad to use so he had a mouse. Im really conflicted. I want the Trinity again, especially because its the only mouse with a circle pattern, but I'm broke now, and I have had 3 of them go bad in 4 year.
@Kanoog Yea, I gave in and got another one from Amazon cause it's the last week for World of Warcraft before prepatch, and the mouse wheel was grindy and would click when rolled so another one bad from the package I'm returning it for a refund Monday and they can't offer a replacement cause there is no more stock so now I'm on the hunt again
If we could only get true wireless 3rd party premium controllers with back paddles for the xbox console that would be sweet. The only true wireless with Back paddles i know of is the SCUF Pro Instinct/Turtle but for that price and lack of customization the Elite 2 s still a better and cheaper option *IMO*
I had this chair for literally 2 months and it started squeaking non stop. I emailed secret lab and they kept asking me for more videos of the sound. After about a week of them simply asking me on question per day via email and refusing to call me, I charged back the chair for item not described for the items condition and them not fulfilling the warranty request as promised. After feeling defeated, I watched your video and bought a can of grease never using grease or doing this before. I followed your method step by step, and I cant believe it, but it worked!!!!!! I've had 2 series x elite controllers and both fell to pieces within a year. Glue coming off grips, button failure, and stick drift. Don't waste your money.
I know this video is 2 years + old at this point, but am curious how is the chair holding up 2 years later for you? I myself am in the market for a chair and like you said have spend the last few weeks doing research trying to find a chair that will work for me and I came across your video which may I add has been the MOST helpful out of the lot ive seen. I myself am in my late 20s have fibromyalgia and neuropathy in both legs and need a chair I can sit in for extended periods of time because if I am not in bed I am at my computer most days and need a chair that will help with posture and comfort. Thank you again for such a great video and yea just curious how its holding up after 2+ years

Ordered and trying tomorrow. I've had this chair for 2 years and even got the softweave cover, I love the chair, the backrest, and headrest but I have always found the seat a little lack luster. I work from home and game after work so I'm in this chair almost all day. I've adjusted and it's not too bad but I do enjoy those soft office chairs, the only reason I didn't get one is because they wear out in a year and you have to get a new one or deal with no cushion at all. I'll update tomorrow and see if this turns my chair into the perfect seat. Update: it is more cushion-y but honestly, kinda the same. Not bad for how cheap it is.
What about squeaking that occurs when you are swinging back? :/ Secret lab already send me replacement parts 2x times, and 2x times after several months the chair started to squeak again.
@@Extermicide I mean when you are trying to tilt back and forth like on the rocking chair. This 'tilt' mechanism are noisy in my SecretLab chair. Apologies for my poor english :D
@@brarord8401 Your English is near perfect. :) The only thing i can suggest is spraying a little WD-40 in the rocker area and see if that solves your problem. I'll be honest, I have never heard of anyone having their rocker squeak, nor have i ever experienced this myself. Try some WD-40 and let me know if it helps.
You know, I have actually thought about that also. Hell, I would even be happy if they decided to sell a 'DELUXE REPLACMENT SEAT' that actually was more cushiony. I wish SECRET LAB would see this video, and read the comments from all you guys & gals -- all you CUSTOMERS!

Got my secret labs chair about 6 months ago and it started squeaking in a matter of weeks! These steps instantly solved it for me, thank you! To those worrying if it’s difficult to initially get the clip off, it came off in about 1 seconds with minimal force for me. Not at all what I was expecting!! Thank you again
