I loved both of the 'Spec Saver' ads. We had the second one in Australia, the 'What sort of cheese....etc.,' but hadn't seen the 'Gordon Ramsay' one before - especially the chopping of the salami! Well done. I could laugh at these for ages. Never boring!
I've been trying yo find a childhood favourite of mine. It had the repeated line of. MOOORE WAAAARTERR!!! a water gun/ super soaker advert. It had more water than ever before About 25 percent more. If I remember correctly. However that was not the prime focus of the art piece. It also had the ability to teach a moral lesson to the people of the late 90s. And if you happen to be rude enough request some more water please to a waiter at a resterant there will almost certainly be an energetic child who will very effeftigky put you in your place. Truly we have been in a many layered drought of much wisened advertisements ever since.
Bullett and Triple Looper ( Magnum Force ) were outrageous rides and I actually remember changing a tyre right at the very top of the first climb on Magnum Force before the park opened on ride inspection. The popularity of the Bulllett too and its opening times made it like the best attraction in those days . I didn’t realise they were there for that long, I knew they were there for a while but not that long. Loved those days , would frequently visit the park then ended up working there and still went on the days off 😅. Operating the Skyflyer aswell as those two rides was just great . The corkscrew gave me whiplash 😅 and I never went on the cliffhanger but the terroriser was another one of my favourites. I vaguely remember the top gun . But all in all , the Bullett followed by magnum force will never be beaten in any park anywhere. I’ll never forget those days. Brilliant video thanks
Going to university during the early 2000's, discovering Rather Good, coming home to find my baby brother talking about the advert and going "oh noooooo".
Oh the original go compare advert. Legendary 🤣 plus the guy on the right is kinda cute I remember the Bounty ad, the two men dressed as women, there was a few, but the one I remember is they were on a running track, racing to see who could tackle various stains with their kitchen roll. So random but as a kid anything that was a race had my attention lol pity I wasn’t the target demographic for kitchen towel. Called Plenty now I believe.
