I'm curious what kinds of variants you all are going to come up with. I've seen comments on mixing with Prediction Princess and Tistina up to now. Any other ideas would be appreciated.
I was just thinking about that! Tistina already suffers from consistency issues since most of the searches are quite poor unless your combo is already going. But the Mimighoul cards could be added as a relatively small package, and they offer plenty of searches between them. Archfiend drawing you a card is always appreciated, and Cerberus gives you free material which is great because Tistina doesn't have anti-synergies based on type/attribute/theme or anything like that. Dragon doesn't seem necessary because you generally want your opponent to have face-down monsters for the Tistina OTK, unless you get rid of Hound of the Tistina for the direct attack. With Breath of the Tistina you get an extra Normal Summon, so you could realistically get both a Mimighoul combo and a Tistina combo going. (Plus I find that when things are going right you often don't need to normal summon a Tistina monster anyway.) The Mimighoul field spell could be a liability if your combo goes wrong, but I think you still run it because you don't really need to keep Baatistina in your field zone after you use its ignition effect.

Behold, Sol and Luna. Ret-time Reviver Emit-ter. And the most horrible, the Terrors in the Hidden City. Terrors of the Overroot might see play too of course. Use it as the Mimighoul flips up to set a card from their GY. I'm looking forward to intergrating the ghostricks in though. Dullahan is the correct level for them. Though that's a personal preference. Magician of Faithfulness is a neat option. But among them all, Reverse Reuse is the most dangerous of them, special summoning from your GY two flip monsters facedown to your opponent's field.
Please divide the tcg department from ocg one, tcg design for yugioh archetype is well thought-out, with pros and cons, having balance in mind, then you have ocg dropping BS cards like fiendsmiths that are clearly broken behind belief
These cards reminded my of Ken and Gen, then I thought what ever happened to those 2 cards after everyone bitched about it when it first got announced. Literally never spoken of again because of Snake eye domination.
I remember seeing 3 Ken + 1 Gen in a (pure) Kashtira deck that topped within the last few months but can't find it now. Using your normal summon to draw 2, discard 1, is really not the best use of the resource in most decks. I've been using Ken and Gen in a casual Tistina OTK deck because you get an extra normal summon most games anyway, plus it can help you go into the Armored Xyz stuff which is good utility (including an additional draw, meaning you've drawn 3 so far, up to 5 if you have TTTalent). Tistina reeeally need the draws in a way that more consistent decks really don't though, because the deck's searchers are not very strong or even usable unless you've already got a combo started.
I’m an absolute sucker for TCG exclusives and their art. I fell in love with the artwork first and the effects look super fun! ❤ excited for this archetype
I’m actually really looking forward to this archetype. I don’t expect it to be a meta contender by any means, but the gameplay mechanics are cool and I love their artworks. It has potential to be a very fun rogue/for fun strategy to bring to locals every once in a while
The only way Gemini monsters can be good is if you circumvent their drawback of having to normal summon them twice to get their effect. At that point they might as well just be effect monsters.
Don't pull a Ashened/ Tistina. Where you give them a random extra deck gimmick. Also from early openings; Master is Ur, feild is UR or SCR, and the rest SR. So I pray that we can find the dungeon.
