Imagine being me, having the secret rare copy of Trident Dragion from LC5D that i never used (because what deck could ever use it) and now, finally, that 10+year old card can be placed in tenpai dragons...wild...
My best friend gave me my copy of trident Dragion. He passed away in 2017 so, it’s a card that’s very dear to me now. Feel kinda ironic that now it’s being used again and talked about.
can you stop gatelocking cards behind dumb rarities so that everyone can actually enjoy playing them without having to spend over 300 euros just for a 7 cards engine?
I mean they made the best deck in Japan only common and super. It’s a start 😂 they really gotta do what the ocg does and have the cards in different rarities kinda like the 25th anniversary set
@@coders1786 it's like that because of gambling laws and ygo's booster packs legally count in that law so they have the privilege to be able to play those cards because komoney LEGALLY CANNOT gatelock them behind rarities
@@arthurfleck4320 i'm talking about diabellstar + wanted + original sinful spoils (flamberge dragon is secret too if you want to count that in...) and i'm not even considering sp little knight in it. Plus basically every other piece of the archetype you need is a high rarity card so you're going to have to either spend a fuckton of money on the market to buy from someone who has pulled them from packs or buy those boosters in hope for luck.
Post the dedicated Ashened Video so I can like it with all of my emails. And tell all my friends to like it. The archetype is the coolest you've produced, we want more support.

It's objectively not good, and if you are talking about skill ceilings, there are way more rewarding decks that you can get a lot more out of if you're a good player than memento. Now, dont get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with playing a pet deck. I like fur hire and lunalight and tri-brigade, but im not going to say they are good when they obviously are not very good at the moment and im not about to juice Diabellstar tri-brigade fire king or lunalight loop piles just because they CAN pop off. Edit: Oh yeah, also nice deflecting, insulting my personal skill as a duelist that i am unable to prove in a youtube comment section, and not acknowledging your deck has many problems preventing it from being "super powerfull".
I have Yubel and Melodious set to go as soon as this drops. I've been having a ton of success with Yubel in PHNI format, and I won my first ever locals with Melodious during NECH (because Qli, Shaddoll, and BA didn't have any real outs to the Aria-Elegy board).
Before this video, trident dragon was only played in edison format by dragon turbo decks(debri dragon+ prime material dragon or iron chain dragon) worth about 10$ maybe, and thats only becuz of lack of reprint, if there was supers or commons of it, it would be like 2$. After this video that mentions trident dragon: 100$

I pulled both 1st ed Ultra Rare and Secret Rare Dragions back in the day. Still sitting in my binder. Maybe I should sell? They hold a lot of nostalgic value to me, so I don’t know.
For the love of god, this was a good time to release silent swordsman and magician outside of Rivals of the Pharaoh. But no i gotta either buy the very expensive booster boxes/packs, or buy them in singles and risk getting them in the mail damaged.
@Kingzaxano, it was not. It was just seeing representation because people were testing the new stuff. After the hype died down the deck dropped off the face of the earth. There are many such cases.
An Improvement, finally announcing a main set. However look at Magic the Gathering: Thunder Junction, they have entire Stories, character Lore, Themed sets, and Pre-constructed decks. You guys need to step it up, there needs to be more.. This presentation is lackluster and nothing to entice new players who don't know atum/lil yugi..
@@jhonnydiamond does everything have to be an investment that you need to get profit from? I enjoy opening packs and i enjoy spending money on them and i enjoy playing with the cards that i pulled on a casual level even though I mostly play competitively. This isn't a waste in my book
@@Silverphantom24 i mean depending on tenpai really, yugi stuff ain't that good, raika sadly ain't that good and labed the stuff quit a lot, ashened worse then tistina. Lightsworn maybe, but that won't sell a set. Most secrets are of the bad new archtypes or one of of decks like centurion. A lot of the good stuff is low rarity, which is cool. But konami not killing tenpai soon would shock me, i mean just look a superheavy samurai incident last time.
