Tej Kohli founded the Tej Kohli Foundation in 2005 and it has since become a global hub for interdisciplinary innovation as part of the Tej Kohli mission to eliminate corneal blindness by 2035. The Tej Kohli Foundation is built around ‘Rebuilding You’ and seeks to rebuild people and communities around the world using new science and technologies. In Tej Kohli also launched the ‘Future Bionics’ program to fund 3D-printed bionic arms for disabled young people in the UK.
Between 2015 and 2019 the Tej Kohli Cornea Institute completed more than 43,255 surgical procedures to restore and alleviate blindness within the world’s poorest communities. In 2019 Tej Kohli made a donation of $2m to Harvard Medical School researchers in Boston. In 2020 Tej Kohli also announced that the Foundation had moved a step closer to treating corneal blindness through the regeneration of corneal tissue. A longstanding project feeding hundreds of children every day in Costa Rica has been active since 2005.

Dr Kia Washington in Pittsburgh USA is trying to perfect an operation to surgically transplant a healthy whole eye from a donor to a person who has lost sight so that they can see again after the operation. I think they now have drugs to suppress immune system rejecting new tissue but her team are trying to get the optic nerve in the back of the eye to regenerate.
I worked for Mr Kholi years back as a security agent here in Costa Rica and was really a pleasure he's a great person and I'm happy to know what he's doing for others it's really admirable.. much respect Mr Kholi great human being...
I’m so emotional watching this. My youngest child has just had his life changed in the best way possible for him and it’s only been achieved by Mr Kohli’s Foundation. As my a Mum, I will never, ever forget what he has done for us 😊

Hlo. My eye got injured and now recovering, but my visual prowess is comparitively poor is there any solution, the scar still there is that heal or not?
