A channel on HOW TO SAVE MONEY in big and small ways. Hi, I'm Kelly, and I created this channel as a hobby to share tips on what to buy, where to eat, and how to create and fix things around the home DIY, so that folks can get ideas on HOW TO SAVE MONEY in big and small ways. ---
I also provide educational content on health based on medical issues that I’ve had to deal with personally. ---
Occasionally, I make silly videos just for fun on random subject matter that I think some folks might be able to relate to or find entertaining. ---
In order to keep my "work" and "play" activities completely separate, I don’t make videos related to my job or what I do for a living. Maybe I'll share information about my job AFTER I retire in 2025! My GOAL is to retire early (at age 56) and enjoy FULL-TIME of fun afterwards!! ---
Disclosure: All videos and discussions on this channel related to personal finance or investing are informational only and are not to be construed as financial advice.
Nice video, that oscillating tool sure looks handy. I find it ridiculous that the big box stores don't sell door jamb material with the groove for weather stripping, By The lineal foot. Home Depot has a set of PVC door jam molding to do a complete 7-ft door for $70.00
Thanks for this. This is the first demonstration of this specific device that I have found. I have the same model. Your demo was very clear and I also enjoyed the music. Thx!
Thank you, that was helpful. I’ve got a small house that desperately needed more sunlight so I spent the last decade buying daylight bulbs. And was happy to switch from the very orange dim lights that we had before. I’m wanting to make things feel a bit more glowy now that winter is here so I bought the soft white thinking it was somewhere in between the dark orange and the daylight. Turns out it’s just the same dark orange we had before. I agree. The 4000k is the nicest. Warm but not orange.
Really cool! I need to replace mine and felt a little overwhelmed, so I wanted to watch someone else do it. I think the board underneath was a great idea. I worry what mine might look like underneath. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you you did a very good job of showing how this is done a lot better than what the manufacturer shows , you did a very good job thank you for your good work .
That is a fantastic repair job. Unless you are looking at the door jamb, you are not going to notice at all. Your visitors would never know it was repaired. Only a trained eye would notice that - such as a relator or a home evaluation person. Thank you for showing us how it is done. I actually have to repair a gate that has some rotting. posts, it has given me the confidence to do it myself . SO THANK YOU!!
i have had this ice/water build up issue for so long! i tried both the clip and clog, but neither worked. i will try your temp sensor solution and hope for the best. thanks so much!!!
I really hope it works out for you! The last thing that I might have tried if replacing the sensor didn't work would have been to replace the defrost heater before just calling it quits (and just getting a new fridge), but i didn't need to go there.
This video is very clear and well-done. The only thing I would suggest is that when the diverter is disassembled, it would be a good idea to soak it in CLR, which dissolves hard calcium deposits.
Yes, I think I totally got ripped off! I will try not use him again . Often times, I use whichever painter is available right away because I'm trying not to let my rental sit vacant too long before listing.
I just found out that I have the same problem. My nest thermostat was turning off and on intermittently displaying an error code e74 no power detected. After doing some research, I found some information about the heater’s on/off safety switch is underneath the cover. When I opened the cover I saw the switch was all mashed. I ordered the part from Amazon and delivering tomorrow. Only in my case the flat part of the switch is pointing down as opposed to yours pointing up. But that doesn’t matter because all it needs to do is to be suppressed by the panel. Although I don’t think that the switch was the issue because the AC is running most of the time, only at times it was shutting off by itself and displaying the error message e74. Unless the broken switch could have been the reason in one way or the other. Last time I had an AC guy climb up the attic and opened the cover to check for the 24 v power. When he placed the cover back on, apparently he tightened the screws so tightly as even crooked the panel itself. So the kind of force shattered the switch in tiny pieces. Hiring a technician to fix the problem, they end up adding more problems to an existing problem. You did the right thing by becoming your own technician. Thanks to the RU-vid that people can learn things from each other. A question though; did you manage to find the exact Goodman OEM part or a replacement one? I couldn’t find the exact part anywhere. Even at Goodman website they sell an updated version. But the part is so flimsy. I can’t believe Goodman makes high end AC and Heaters yet using such a loser’s choice part for a high quality heater.
@@PURE_LUCIDITY That should work for you just fine. If for some reason it doesn'[t work, Amazon is really awesome about accepting returns with free return shipping.
Thank you for the easy to follow instructions. I just got this compressor so I will save your instructs until I have used it enough to remember all the details. PS- Was also hapopy to see an mature woman such as myself giving instructions, I will Subscribe!
Yes, I did! I was belatedly grossed out later when I figured out what those little black things were! I couldn't figure out what they were at the time because I had never seen mouse poop like that in a house before. As silly as it may sound, I thought it was some type of construction debri in the ceiling.
@@barrywendelson i'm not sure. The house was vacant for about 6 months when bought it. I got the house treated for mice at the same time i got it treated for termites professionally.
We have a few brand new brushed gold light fixtures but an old 80s mirror we want to match the light fixtures with the mirror what paint do you think would be best for a modern aesthetic vibe
I really need help with my privacy lock. I have a similar lever style door lock. I’m switch door knobs so the privacy lock is on the door leading to the basement. Pushing the button in but the lever still moves freely on the other side. Any suggestions?
Wow thank you. I thought I had everything to fix mine and I was going to shut it off tonight but now nope I'm ordering the temperature sensor because if I have to tear it down I'm fixing it all at once. There were absolutely no drains for mine I pulled it out to check if they were clogged and they were missing the drain tubes so I ordered those I had ordered the clip to go on it and I have to do the freezer also but if I have to do the temperature sensor then so be it because I went through and took a soft brush and cleaned out the coils I made a tiny tube to put in to vacuum out the entire bottom out of a long straw oh you should have seen me it would have made hilarious video trust me. I never think about that when I'm doing these things I just do them.
