As a new claimant a family member is not seeing the screen that says apply for an advance. This person is very sick and has limited income and a car to manage and rent to pay. Any idea why they are not seeing this screen. New application
Here's a double standard they give the y next to nothing to live in each month but if you were to take a foreign spouse to the UK they say you have to provide at least 150 a week for food and clothes double standards
How are you supposed to look for a job when you feel demoralised by the fact you're living on such a pitence. I don't own a pair of smart shoes, my hair hasn't been cut months, yet i supposed to go to an interview looking like someone the cat drag in. And yes, it's about first impressions. I want to work, but i am more concerned at the moment. How do i pay for my water as they have just over to debt recovery agency 💁♀️. That's really helpful. I never had mental health problems before i went onto UC.
Does th amount you can get be told to you when you apply. As you state in the video the advance amount will be what you are entitled to so will what your entitled to be told to you when you make the application as in on that day?
Hello channel owner, please I want to ask something urgently. I would be very happy if you answer. I live in England. and my wife couldn't work because she had surgery. We receive universal credit assistance. Except for rent assistance. What I want to know is that my husband is working again and his monthly income is 800 pounds. We are a family of 3. My daughter, me and my husband. My daughter is 15 years old and I attend my appointments regularly every 2 weeks. My husband doesn't go on appointments anymore because he works part time. How much universal credit do we need to pay? Since I'm new, I don't have much information. I would appreciate it if you could answer me because I want to know if everyone's common salary is the same as ours.
Hi.i got universal credit at the moment..today i just stop working ,in the factory where i been for 9 years...how to let know universal credit about that?what section to chose to let them know about that?thank you
How much Universal credit payment does a family of 3 receive if working part time? My husband's income is 800 Pounds. Can you please answer me on this subject? I don't know much about it. They make deductions all the time. Actually, I have a few more questions I want to ask.
good evening.. I tell you, I have lost my job and I am looking for and my husband works but his salary does not cover all the payments on our house. I could apply for help with the rent on my house, thank you
Man, I love you and love how clear you explain it all, thank you so much 💓 I have a question, I'm a single mum of 11 years old son, I receive universal credit and I work 16 hours a week, my boss just notified me about cutting hours of all the employees, im down to 14 hours I'm now, would the jobcentre expect me to more hours than 14 hours? Thank you for the most helpful channel. Thank you ❤
Hi Peter. I am a UK passport holder. My wife is on spouse visa. As we are living together, applying for Universal Credit (UC) requires to make a joint claim. I want to ask can we make a joint claim as spouse visa says "no public funds". Please guide in this regard, Thanks.
Anyone self employed on pip and UC? I'm still receiving legacy benefits and am bricking it as i don't know how its going to affect me. I also have 2 special needs kids in dla and am fearful of the future as i dont earn much.
Very useful for UK young people starting out with credit. However, as you mention that these are cards to build your credit score, you have missed a crucial element. Credit utilisation. The four main credit brokers use the fico score to determine an overall score. The second highest element in scoring is credit utilisation. At the end of each billing cycle the lender reports on several data points and one of these is how much of the credit limit has been used. Typically, although the lender is happy to lend you the full agreed limit the brokers see anything above a 30% spend on your credit limit as stressing the account. This directly impacts the scoring. The way to circumvent this is if you find you are spending more than the said threshold , you can either ask the lender to increase your limit or you can pay some of the outstanding amount during the billing cycle. One more point here. Try not to arrive at zero balance at the end of a billing cycle either. After all you are trying to demonstrate to the brokers that you are responsible debtor who is managing their loans. A zero balance is showing the broker that you haven’t actually borrowed any monies. Hope this helps.
It depends how much you pay off each month. If you pay it back within the month you don’t pay any interest. If you pay minimum payments every month it could take around 2 years
Credit cards, especially beginner ones aren’t good if you use them and plan to pay off over a long time. It’s good to get into the habit of only using it for things you have the money for and can pay the balance off in full every month
@@marinayasin9763 honestly credit card companies want you to buy now and pay later because that’s how they make their money by charging extortionate interest rates. So as long as you make the monthly minimum payments, they will be happy for you to take years to pay it, but you end up paying much more than you initially spent because of the interest. That’s why I would never recommend using credit card for anything you can’t pay back the same month. There are exceptions to this but not with any beginner cards. If it’s an emergency and you have absolutely no other option then I suppose you could, but I would try and borrow it from family or friends or something first. If it’s not an emergency then I would delay buying whatever it is for a few months while I saved the money. Sorry for the long reply 🤦🏽♂️ hope that helps
When i was 18 i only for £75 fortnightly!!! i wish i had got £344 monthly!!! I was eventually evicted for rent arrears which wasn't all my fault. had i been on £344 monthly i wouldnt have ben evicted!
Hi, can you please explain if I work more hours will it impact my universal credit but will it impact my housing element as well. Also, I have a joint account with my husband because he is disabled and by picking more hours I don’t want to impact his universal credit payment. How will it work please explain
First of all the system was designed to help those who really need it but we need to speak the truth here. This country and the benefits system has had the piss took out of it for years to many lazy people who are full of excuses and think the world owes them a living.if you were born here and you want something you have to earn it if you moved here and are not happy with what you get for FREE you can always leave
