My tongue on my left boot always slips to the outer side of my boot. It drives me crazy. I’m constantly having to pull it back straight. Anyone else have this issue?

Please explain to me what the "CA/AA" width of skate button means. It's unclear whether clicking that button means you're getting a wide boot or what..
I'm just about to order mine, I skate at jumpin' Jupiter in Muskegon Michigan. Your colorlab website is straight forward EXCEPT for the part where you click the box to divide your colors for a half n half colored boot. You must click "left boot" and "left side" to view your color on customize. And right with right side every time you click an area of your boot. It's very confusing when you click lavender and then customize button to see it in real life version, then if you forget to click both rectangular boxes it won't change the color.
I am trying to male my front and back wheels to pivot more. My skates came with the yellow butterflies, they bend easily but my wheels are stiff. Which color should I use to make my wheels pivot more?
Moxi is notorious for not accommodating insole users. Does this fit well with Moxi skates? Generally applying to all however I'm specifically asking about Lolly's. Love the skates however I noticed how awfully they accommodated my feet, I hope this can change my experience because it would be such a waste
Yes, since we manufacture Moxi Lolly skates in our facility, they use our footbed dies in their products. The R-Fit footbed works great with the Lolly. You'll want to purchase the "All Low Cut and Women's High Top" version of the R-Fit Kit: www.roller.riedellskates.com/Catalog/Tools-and-Accessories/R-Fit-Footbeds/R-Fit-Footbed-Kit-Low-Cut. The footbeds are made slightly larger in the ball to be trimmed to the specific footbed dimensions. So you'll want to trace your current footbed onto of the R-Fit kit and then trim the excess. They should. Are the vintage 297 boots black or white in color? If white, we'd recommend going with the Low-Cut/All Women's Hightop R-Fit Kit (www.roller.riedellskates.com/Catalog/Tools-and-Accessories/R-Fit-Footbeds/R-Fit-Footbed-Kit-Low-Cut). If black, we'd recommend going with the All Men's Hightop R-Fit Kit (www.roller.riedellskates.com/Catalog/Tools-and-Accessories/R-Fit-Footbeds/R-Fit-Footbed-Kit-Mens-High-Top). All the R-Fits will require some trimming to fit exactly with the boot, but there should be an R-Fit option that will work for your needs with your vintage 297 boots. Hopefully, that helps. @@RiedellRoller the men’s r fit kit for hightops in size 6-7.5 did not work unfortunately :( they were too wide at the arch, and trimming them would have defeated the purpose of the adjustable arch height

This is a video about proper fitting skate boot. Well, I think we need a video about how to mount a skate boot, or notice a boot is too messed up to use.
I paid about 300 dollars for the boots that are not equal to one another as the cut and sew and tension on the boots and skates. If Riedell sends this to me mounted by Skate Nation then I am here to call out and say hey there is a problem here.
So sad because they sent me a pair of bad skates and it is so so so so sad i am just SAD. And the sad makes me angry. On really, confused is the word i am. Why would people give me a bad pair of boots and mount them bad and send them to me. It is so sad. So sad i cannot function really.
Too bad my new riedell 595 boots are bad. I am some poor old 59 year old lady who spent almost a grand on a pair of speed skates from Skate Nation is it ?
It would be great if Riedell would update their adverts and online presence (Website) to include people of color. The Riedell Roller website has zero african-americans or Latin/Afro-Latin folks. Jam/Rhythm skating has major influences from Hip-Hop/R&B/Disco and many of the innovative challenging moves originate from these communities of color.
I will post more of the exact measurements of the boot after i take them off the plates and make measurements of the lengths and angles. Also i will post on tik tok videos of the crooked mount of the deformed boot.
So like i told Skate Nation, I am glad i am the person who got cheated and sent a defective boot and defective mount instead of a 13 year old child after saving for two years to buy the pair of skates.
So after i contacted Riedell, then Skate Nation again, Skate Nation said they could send me a shipping label and they could have Riedell repair the right boot. They wanted me to send my 900 pair of skates to them so they could take off the boot with bad mount holes in it and send it to Riedell for boot repair. LOL. I wonder how they would manage remounting a repaired warped boot. How many holes would be in the boot ? I guess that would not affect my performance either ? I mean, if the boot is mounted asymmetrically because of a defective boot, how can ????? You get it.
Well, i can tell you it is hard to fit a boot properly when the right boot is deformed. I ordered a pair of 595 boots from Skate Nation on a pair of Power-Trac plates. The right boot is so deformed that it was mounted asymmetrically. Skate Nation said it would not affect my performance so they could not refund or exchange.
The Solaris is glued and cemented to the highest standards. The boot has been out now for over 5 years and we haven't had any issues with the boots holding up for heavier set skaters.
As I gathered Adobe is no longer supporting Flash Player, and recommends people uninstall it. But we need to have it in order to use the online interactive tool that shows what the skate will look like. What do I do?

@@RiedellRoller A year ago in another comment here you said you would have something out in "the next couple of months" that we could use to build and preview our custom boots, any update or still the same "in the next couple of months" response?
I just received a 595 and a Solaris to try on and see what I like better. It did take around eight weeks. The boot will be used for speed skating. So I decided to go with the Solaris although I have till this Friday to change my mind. The 595's started hurting in the big to area and my my feet uncomfortable. I am worried about the softness on the Solaris for speed skating. I ordered a 9 1/2 and probably could have fit better in a nine. My index finger can almost fit between my big toe and the end.
When we fit people we aim to try to get the longest toe as close to the front of the boot as possible with the toes laying flat and not curling or overlapping each other to fit into the boot. Because the material of the boot will stretch and mold with foot we want to get a comfortably snug fit at the beginning with nothing being painful. Hopefully, that helps.
@@RiedellRoller how long would it take to get a size 9 Solaris? I think there's just to much space on the big toe. My 9 1/2 that was ordered for me has not been mounted yet?

Hi. Great question! While there are several ways that skaters engage the snug tie, we find it's best to use the snug tie as another set of eyelets. once you have tightened up your boots to the top eyelet, cross the laces over, then feed the laces from the top down through the loops of the snug tie. Then pull the laces out away from your foot and finish tying and knotting the lace. You should feel the snug tie tighten around your heel. Hopefully, that helps. Thank you.
I am based in the UK and my normal sneaker size is a UK 7.5 or 8. When I use the chart, my feet measures up to size 7 on the chart which I assume is a US size 7 which is smaller than a UK size 7 and is actually a UK size 6. What am I missing here?
