Hello. We can definitely help. The best thing to do is to contact us directly at 800-698-6893 or email customerservice@riedellskates. We will need to know what size your Solaris boots are and what color replacement straps you will want. Thank you.

Would this lacing technique work on the 395 boot for the ankle strap? I know it’s not the same as the V lock’s functionality wise but would you lace it the same to get more ankle support? Or is there a different way to lace up the 395?

Hi Anthony. Yes this lacing technique of treating the ankle strap as an extra eyelet and crossing over and going down through the look would definitely work on the 395 boot as well as our Blue Streak boot. We have found that this lacing technique helps to provide the most pull on the ankle strap.

Looks as if this boot is glued and not stitched will they hold up to a heavier skater

The Solaris is glued and cemented to the highest standards. The boot has been out now for over 5 years and we haven't had any issues with the boots holding up for heavier set skaters.
