HI, IM STE I AM A MUSIC PRODUCER AND SONG WRITER FROM THE WEST MIDLANDS IN THE UK. I AM A MULTI GENRE PRODUCER AND WRITER AND HAVE BIG INFLUENCES MOSTLY ACROSS COUNTRY, ROCK AND HIP HOP.
AS WELL AS SHOWING YOU BEHIND THE SCENES ON A LOT OF MY PROJECTS I AM WORKING ON I WILL ALSO BE BRINGING YOU TUTORIALS AND OTHER FORMS OF ENTERTAINMENT ALONG THE WAY.
@@traccedigroove I’ve been using nectar 4 and getting great results but I also have the pro version of xvox too and I’m genuinely surprised after years of always using nectar that I do find my self (with rock vocals especially ) using xvox way more And when you consider the price difference. Also with xvox pro you can use all the units separately and these aren’t just great for vocals the compression and reverb delay features are amazing and i use them all the time on guitars and snare hits
@@stestetsonmusic ok, maybe the only difference (correct me if I'm wrong) between Xvox Pro and Nectar 4 is the speed of finalizing a vocal track? That is, Xvox Pro, from what I understand, does a more delicate operation which subsequently requires the addition of other plugins to finalize the track, while Nectar 4 does everything in a single operation as it is already equipped with all that?
it's kind of funny how the "iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02" VST from (2011) does cleaner sounding AutoTune and more frequent AutoTune warble / wobble and flutter effects on vocals than the "Nuro Audio Xpitch" VST and the "Antares Auto-Tune Pro v11" VST from (2024), and the "Slate Digital MetaTune" VST from (2021) lol.
I couldn’t comment on that to be honest I’m not a huge user of auto tune if I do use it i use it sparingly, working with rock and country it’s not a big part of what I do but that’s an interesting note often the originals are the best. Didn’t TPain have his own signature auto tune plugin for a while?
I have it. Haven't used it much YET, but I will! Good basic explanation of the 4 sections. Good job. To me, a bit pricey, but worth it, since I specialize in vocal mixing.
My initial thought was Pricey but when I upgraded to the pro I have been suprised a just how much I use it, Its so fast to get results I tend to use it a lot now
@@stestetsonmusic Thanks for your comment. I think right now, the upgrade price is $99, and still a bit pricey as that's now approaching close to $200 for it after my X-vox purchase. Plus I have a ton of other plugins that I can use to also piggyback onto this one, as the one think he said about using another compressor with the Opto-Fet one. SO for now, I think I'll pass on the PRO. Besides, their website is really hard to get around.
@@stestetsonmusic Id like to do it without any daw instrument for example my friend has a song that he wrote himself he recorded it and left me 3 bars to write a solo i want to write a solo with his vocal melody like i want to mimic it make my guitar sing it without how do i do it on guitar ?
@@muratkaya881 personally as a guitarist I would play by ear and learn the notes, if you don’t know how to do that you can use the midi in logic and covert it to sheet music that will tell you the notes to play on guitar or you can use the midi notes on the keyboard to help you work out the melody I’m probably not explaining that very well but maybe something I can make a video on another time
@@stestetsonmusic i can do that but i dont think it is a practical and long term solution. I can play some songs by ear but i cant play this one which bothers me a lot
@@stestetsonmusic I was the same I used the trial version and noticed my vocals sounded so much better without it. This plugin is really intriguing to me tbh
This version is absolutely aimed at beginners but cleans up vocals nice and for people that dont know how to do all of this stuff I think it offers a template that they can then tweak. The Pro Version is much better it's just a matter of whether you would justify the price. I like it as an interface but this version is a little limited
Forget about followers and money. Use an alternative.. A nations security is more important. Now, I know other apps harvest user data, but tiktok shares with the Chinese gov. They say they don't but it has been proven that they DO
Good point like I say I’ve never been much of a fan for TikTok but feel for people that built their lively hoods on there. Time for change for everyone
@@stestetsonmusic Nice. Thought I recognised the twang in your accent. I’m from Tamworth. Just discovered your channel. I’ll be sure to check out some more videos 🤘🏼😎
I don't really understand all this , Does ai do it for you? Ive got a program that designs circuit board layouts, you just load up the schematic and it will design a pcb board, its quite old so i don't think its ai, but is it the same sort of thing?
No I think there’s a difference with algorithm based drawing tools and ai So when you describe an image to ai what it does is scans the internet for thousands of images that are similar to what you described and creates totally unique image from that No idea on the technicalities but it saves me an awful amount of time and money and in this industry that’s a huge factor
Cool! AI is a godsend for us indie musicians. We use Midjourney (we pay) to do album and track covers but also, because we don't perform live, we need visuals for track videos and social media. We've spent the last couple of years working it to achieve a good standard. Our channel is here. All the recent videos are made using AI images. Couldn't have dreamed of this even three years ago. ru-vid.com
Is it possible to change the aspect ratio with dall-e? I have seen it used to be possible but since I started using dall-e I could never find the option.
