But if you go for higher LUFS, then Spotify will compress it and make it lower. At least that's what I heard. And then you have no control of the final sound. I was told, it is better to keep it at -14 LUFS to make it sound the way you was aiming for in your master. Isn't that true? I'm not sure, but that's what I was told and what I've seen others talk about on RU-vid as well.
From what I have tested pushing the luffs does make a difference if I listen to old tracks where I’ve used the standard -14 vs pushing it slightly higher I have noticed a considerable difference Who knows but for me at least this seems to work
@@stestetsonmusic yes, it will probably sound louder. But does it sound like it did in your original master or is it their compressor pushing other stuff up as well? Would be intresting to know if your master sounds just like it does when you listen to it when it's released on Spotify.
@@staffan_ofwerman Yh I dot. Want to push it too far or it will ruin it but some tracks on Spotify are considerably louder than others Also their are listener settings where they can take this restriction off to offer Higher levels I believe
