Dallas Carter had alot of students who ended up going to jail. Most should of not played in this game because a teacher changed grades on some of the starters. On a dry Ratliff Stadium Permian would of wiped the floor . GO MOJO.
I'm a Tennessee Highschool football enthuiast. But in general, I LOVE highschool football everywhere. Can someone give me inside details of the 88' squad? For instance, were you on the team or know which game/how Boobie blew his knee? Etc.
Your mistaken. This is obviously like the second or third to last game before the state championship. He got injured at the beginning of the season so this is his Junior year. Remember when he was training and stuff in the offseason thats when he got bigger and better. Not to mention they have him as a tailback. Theres more footage of him on RU-vid and he’s a fullback. So they moved him his Senior year to fullback
Not to mention now that I am watching it, looks like Arlington was a mucch better team right. Outweighs every player by 70 lol. So consider that for the people blocking for him, and the defense knowing there just going to give him the ball. Thats what sucks about football, most of it is play calling Are you kidding me guy, Look at booby run holy shit he looks way f better than everyone out there. Thats the thing with great players though, in situations like this they just get the ball 1000 times a year and get worn down. They need to mix it up maybe even put him at wideout and watch the defense match three people on him lol
The movie was wrong and actually biased. I attended Carter and the game. Carter kids were not thugs, the parents were Lawyers, Doctors and IBM executives.
The way this guy was treated by the town is horrible. Even worse by the coaches and boosters. Anyone who lived in thatvv by town back then should be ashamed and hopefully have taken a long look in the mirror since then
