I'm going to try BL3 again for the 6th try. After I instal some needed quality of life mods, a redux mode for mechanics overhaul, and of course the needed dialogue/scene skip "feature". I I think I might be able to push through and beat the story mode. Hopefully I can make it past the Jungle planet this time. 6th time is the charm....hopefully.
At the end of the day the shitty story is such a small thing, its jsut the mission structure that makes it so unbearable to get through sometimes, follow this, talk to that, press a button for no reason just to progress. It just feels so artificial and unimportant that the story feels like a means to an end. Its a shame because everything else is top tier with the best build diversity with awesome weapons and characters, amazing environments and side areas to explore. i really hope they make BL4 flow better so its not a slog creating a new level 1 character. Rant aside, great video man, agree on basically everything you said!
Thank you! I farmed up a lvl 8 cloning maddening tracker so it wouldn't down me and just serve as a healing tool instead, and I didn't take the perk that lets you throw grenades when ur down so i could have an extra point into vampyr
I like gamma burst flak with the Red Fangthe most. Survivability-10 Add clear- 9 Bossing -8 I’d just cast gamma burst so everybody pays attention to your pet and fire plaguebearer rockets into a Crowd. Get ammo back on crits and flak can crit with any gun. Even for bossing, sure I can switch to a better rocket for boss damage, but why switch when I can just keep firing plaguebearer shots. It maybe adds 5-10 seconds and on a raid boss that doesn’t matter.
You can dogwalk all content with any of them if you know what you're doing. Hemovorous is designed to be the biggest challenge and Amara can down him in 5 seconds, so I guess she wins.
@@cmxi That's what I'm referring to. Unleash the Dragon artifact will keep it chewing through the immunity phases. Fastest I've dropped Hemo is 6 seconds. Usually 12-15 seconds and two fish slaps
@@cmxi fire damage dots continue on for I think 12 seconds. So...Brawler Ward and Fish Slap (both with terror melee anoint), phasezerker, unleash the dragon, Facepuncher with melee initiates terror anoint, guardian angel. Shoot something with the Facepuncher to get terror going, switch to the guardian angel, throw a fish slap and watch whatever it hits melt
When you say “marking a target” do you mean hitting the middle mouse button to ping them or is that just something that automatically happens when you hit them with this bow?
Transformer shields and electric area dmg weapons and grenade help too. I can stay alive forever and almost never run out of ammo. Just find a good butcher shotgun 😂
So, Zane can fire a single shot from a Creamer (best with splash radius boosts) and Eraser will cause it to Bore/Bloodsplode an entire room at once. Almost all your deaths are to yourself. It's insanely fun.
I prefer the executor especially with the light show as it tightens up the spread of the bullets making much easier for both you and your clone to hit stuff
Amara is the strongest imo. With a melee and gun build and the blade fury she can one clip bosses and one shot many enemies. Plus she’s really fun with ties that bind
@@Kelavis and ? I m happy for you but playing with the strongest charachter on the game dont upgrade yours to the best. If your son play boresplosion you probably understand what i mean. And, without hate, if no its because your son need to learn here build
After that lvl 72 update.. gravity snare flak with a kick charger is nasty. Infinite ammo is a w. moze with the mini guns is a w. Orb Amara is a w.... I like them all lol
I think the developers should not have called this Game Borderlands 3. They should have called it like Borderlands "the pre sequel 2.0" or Borderlands "influenced". So we would have had more realistic expectations for this kind of installment of the Borderlands series. Maybe!
I feel you but at the same time I would have felt cheated if it was a sequel to pre-sequel. The pre-sequel is my right under BL2 as far as favorite looter shooters. Still feel cheated that its the conical sequel to BL2 though.
Loving the Borderlands 3 weapons that shoot melee dmg, so I'm enjoying melee Amara a lot. My fav in game 2 was melee Krieg but you were really shafted during flying bosses, new weapons take care of that.

Hellfire can only get big views at this point shitting on the game. He let MAK warp his brain and now literally the entire creator community knows to avoid him. Sad because he’s actually a solid creator, but dudes brain is just mush now.
@@Byrdman yeah I don’t know what went through his head to make MAK of all people his mentor. That’s the sad part the dude has talent but to be a good public figure you need to always be fair and impartial which hellfire isn’t but I’m sure that’s just a thing you get as you get older hellfire from what I can tell is still pretty far on the young side.
Idk. MAK, Hellfire, Term, Thicc all decided that toxicity got them better views and have gone that way. Hilarious how when they try to do something normal and positive it does nothing but the second they start hating they pop off
@@Byrdman good news is with the exception of mak and thicc they are all redeemable especially term. I talked with him man to man a few times personally he’s a really cool dude. Can’t do the same thing with hellfire though dudes filled with way to much hate to reason with so I have to leave it up to him. Term though unlike hellfire he doesn’t hate bl3 in fact he genuinely loves it he just prefers the older games. Hell he even hopped back on 3 recently.
Unfortunately I don’t see a way back for Term and I. Dude has flip flopped multiple times with me and always defends guys like Thicc. Hes a great creator when his content isn’t being toxic or when he spews anti “woke” stuff. We had some good times in the past, but dude has to grow up in my eyes. I hope the best for him and hope he eventually realizes he’s in the wrong.
Hear me out, as much as the cut story may have been better I think the story as it is would have been perfectly fine, everyone was always out here complaining about it but I think most of the issue with the story was story adjacent things, talk to lilith, following NPCs around, in BL2 the NPCs never do anything outside of Tina and brick, they tried to tie the NPCs into the story for three but missed the mark a little But pure story wise I think three is stronger than two Two had jack, and jack was funny and charismatic and you where supposed to hate him, but jack carried the story from 2, nothing much else happens in twos story outside of a couple deaths But in three mayas death forces ava to grow up, come to terms with the world and become a better person as she finds the love of a new mentor in tanis and grows to respect lilith, Troy and tyreen are designed to seem inhuman personalities via the influencer angle, but when typhon turns up he flips that and humanised them by being his kids, cracked the image of influencers and showed they where once kids that loved and where loved Purely in terms of writing, threes story is stronger and no one wants to know about it
