Yall don’t know how it was back in the day. You guys only know bad bitches they are not what you want at all, back in the day there was the freakiest bitches they were whatever you wanted them to be down for anything you wanted low maintenance and chill super exotic freaks. The only place I know where they still exist today 2024 is at club sinister Hollywood. I’m too old and beat down from life to go anymore but if you are young still n full of life get down there and experience before it’s too late for you
If something like this happened now more than half of the ppl there would be insta goth and FOMO sufferers recording their every move to make sure that everyone else knows they were there.
My personal interpretation of these people is that a unique subculture of style of dress and style of dance developed from whatever rave culture they were already experiencing within their particular urban area. And keep in mind this is way before the dubstep subgenre of edm became established. They took their love of hard-hitting beats and made it their own as an amazing way to bond with each other, dance, and just basically enjoy the comraderie they shared amongst themselves. This is a very unique example of how far having similar interests in far lesser known styles of music (at the time) can bring people together. Even if its under a bridge.
Back then when I watched this, all I could think was how cringe this was. Fast forward, now I just see a bunch of people having a good time. Glad these people were able to find others with similar interests and had fun together.
Would you believe me if I told you there’s a Mexican restaurant not far from where I live called Mar-Goth-ritas - and when you tell them it’s your birthday, the serving staff, who are dressed just like this, come out to your table and rave dance to trance music? No? Ok, just checking 🤠
