I’ve come back to this video many different times over the past decade. The coolest thing to see is how the comment section has changed from harsh criticism about its oddity to how cool it is to have such friends like these dancing together.
It's because the world went to crap and now we all just miss having fun without having to worry about things like nuclear war, world leaders with dementia, the widespread normalization of child abuse and mental illness, and the release of bioweapons on the entire planet.
And the goths are usually the first to say high the the people standing alone at metal concerts. One was even cool enough to give me her homemade bracelet at a show I attended at a casino. I still wear it whenever I go gambling.
I'm a 68 year old African American, and I love these dancers forever! They are hitting it and this should have had more publicity! My daughter hits it spot on! Years of watching. Exactly! We need a reunion.
Unironically one of my all time favorite videos online, the best vibes. No reason to clown on them, they're living their best life! I want this shit more, I want it in games like cyberpunk, feels like it fits in. Lol
Lol one time someone threw an entire bottle of hand sanitizer at the substitute but he took the top off and the so the substitute ended up covered in sanitizer. I've never laughed that hard again
I know this is unoriginal but this was awesome and was a good place to put this meme. Anyway sorry if its unoriginal, something like this masterpiece is missing this
Seeing this video was one of my first introductions to the alternative subculture(s) here in Germany, I am so glad I did. I'm a goth (& a metalhead) today and I am eternally grateful for this video, it played such an important part of my formative years. I genuinely hope everyone in this video is doing well and still gets to party hard :D
Cybergoths are the kindest group of people with a good sense of humor (Because of Invader Zim) We have a goth club here in Seattle and it is always playing the best industrial and hard dance music!
Yea but I didn't see you mention the funny clothes and altered perceptions going on here😂 Fools always try blurring the lines and mixing the bad with the good. This is entertainment at most. Other dancing around the world that normal humans do is much nicer without the funny.
Michael Myers we have to 😂 one boy broke his bone on the floor and we got down to kneel because that’s what we are supposed to do but hen the coach said “100 LAPS IF YOU DON’T KEEP GOING” and we were are all 11-13 so we just kept going
I'm not even kidding when I see some form of fighting style being able to come out of this. A lot of their moves are very reminiscent to some strikes and blocks I learned many many years ago in taekwondo. Seriously watch and you'll see it. Are you damn kids making threatening gestures? No officer, we're just dancing
The vibe would be very different if this took place at night and they had a few fire barrels going. But under the bridge on some concrete is very essential to the aesthetic of cyber-goth.
@Sexy Uchiha i think he danced pretty well the best of them. but goth isnt shuffle and taking the tamon guy out the rest looked like were doing aerobic exercises instead of dsncing
Never cared to dress much more than a black jeans and a black shirt with some metal band logo, but I used to dance to stuff like this too. Didnt really care how it looked, but just having fun with friends. :D
Tbh these seem like the type of people that you constantly shit on and laugh at with your friends but are ridiculously nice when you actually talk to them and you instantly feel like shit
These kids don't look the "normal" person so they make the best of life and go make their own club away from everyone who would judge them. Not hurting anyone and just having fun. These days everyone who feels different feels the need to yell at and try and cancel anyone who doesn't understand them.
It's that, even though no one here is going to deny it looks stupid and retarded and weird...we somehow...relate with that. Because at the end of the day, that's all us. And when you make that realization, it turns to appreciation that they're at least able to find their own group of "weirdness."
