I got an idea why don’t all you bronco owners draw names at Christmas and you can give each other tie rods for Christmas. Go GOAT mode ! Get Out And Tow 😅
Why is she putting up that he wrecked her bronco when clearly she was too inexperienced to do it herself and probably would’ve flipped it otherwise she would have been driving it.
I like these Portals they are very similar to the ones Mercedes Benz is using on their G-Class I prefer 3 bigger gears in the portal housing where the middle gear is bigger as opposed to 4 gears in the housing where the middle 2 being smaller.
Went down this today in my side by side with my family not knowing there isn't an easy way out. Let some air out of the tires and put it in manual and the Honda Talon 1000 got me out of there, thank goodness.
Pretty sweet but if you always bring it might aswell always bring propper Eyewear. Gloves wouldn't be a bad idea either. I guess doubled sunglasses is better than nothing though
Its such a shame. When I first watched Stacey David in 1998 on Trucks! I fell in love with auto mechanics. That led me to graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering in the mid 2000's and pursue a career in machine design.
i am not much of the noise or so but what i see using portals is the quickest way to lift your truck or vehicle leaving the stock design of your front and rear axles..
I'm just trying to learn more about portals in general and stumbled across your channel. Learned a lot just by watching a few vids, and ya'll have great content! I'm not a Bronco owner myself, but what I was trying to research: are portals exclusive to double wishbone suspensions in IFS applications, or can portals be adapted to fit on other types such as MacPherson style IFS? Completely understand if outside ya'lls scope since the focus is more on Broncos.
Welcome to our channel! Pretty much portals can be adapted to almost every type of vehicle. we can make available on most newer style and will be working to roll out more in the near future.
I too am new to this stuff. I have watched a few of these videos. I was going down the RU-vid rabbit hole the other day and discovered @74Weld they are a US based company that started in racing and now make bolt on portals for all kinds of platforms. I like the broncbuster price point but the 74Weld stuff looks to be top notch U.S.A. manufactured
@@RodneyStonewall sorry I started responding Saturday and I guess I didn’t send. I too am traveling and trying to respond to everyone as quickly as possible.
I know you said 22 percent gear reduction…so is that closer to a 1.2 or 1.6 or 2.0 gear reduction in the portal?..Seems like it would be close to a 1.2 ratio in the portal so ur highway rpm at 70 is retained once you bolt on say a 37 inch tire??..
15k for China made steel?? I think most ppl will go to 74Weld for 20k and at least get an American made product that is very high quality…I don’t think ppl will spend more than 5 or 8k if it has anything to do with china and definitely not more than 10 the quality coming out of china is less than sub par at best!!.. I will be watching to see and hopefully I’m wrong!!
Buddy, I would encourage you to educate yourself a little bit more on what high-quality is. we are actually going to have an American made version of the cheaper four gear straight cut. This price point will be nearly half of what 74 weld produces and the same quality. if you want good quality for the daily driver, this is the option for you. If all you care about is an off-road rig by all means by 74 weld and spend more money.
@@BroncBustertx china isn’t high quality and the whole world knows it…Now ur American version is yet to be seen and hopefully will be of high quality because I want to purchase if so…I can’t wait to see ur American made portal that’s nearly half the price of 74Weld and of the same quality that’s what we are all wanting and waiting for!!..
@@hairycods2273 I would disagree that everything made in China is garbage. I have had an education myself in this field. in fact, as I took these gears to different US manufactures, they told me that it would be very hard to duplicate the same quality without being three times the cost cost. So I would encourage anybody before making a blanket statement to do some homework. The fact of the matter is I was bait and switched by Wolfgang into thinking that these were made in Germany. I will not work with the company that is deceitful in anyway. That is why I have all the information out there except for the details that could be very damaging to Wolfgang because I do not feel that that is professional or appropriate.
So essentially you took a Tibus portal design and sent it overseas to manufacture it cheaper. Am I missing something here or are you not doing the exact same thing as all the companies you complained about.
BroncBuster has always been about being true to our off-road community and provide the best, tested products that will enhance the off-road experience. After much testing of lift options, portals became our clear favorite for providing the Bronco with off-road clearance and on-road comfort and control. We entered into an agreement with Tibus because we felt they had the best portal solution for the 6Gen Bronco. We had high hopes of bringing their proven German technology to the American off-road market. We poured a lot of time, testing, emotion, and money into making that happen, however it turned out Tibus was a less than honorable partner. We do not intend to air details of what has become a failed partnership with Tibus, however we think it is important for our community to understand why we are now taking the route of manufacturing our own Portals in the United States and why it was necessary. Integrity is very important to us at BroncBuster. Tibus represented itself as both designing and manufacturing in Germany whereas in truth they turned out to be a middle man. This was concealed from us for a significant amount of time. Not only did this deception taint almost all negotiations and communications, it also resulted in dramatically higher costs than first anticipated and discussed. It was agreed that BroncBuster would spend considerable time and money to test the portals in American off and on-road applications with the intention of adapting and improving the portal and the end goal of offering our customers a better product at a better price-point. However, it quickly became clear Tibus had no interest in helping us address design, performance and cost challenges and improvements so we could make a portal that would be a better fit the US market. Unfortunately, all of our proposals for a continuing partnership were denied and it became very clear that for us to maintain the proper level of customer service and product integrity we were not with the right partners. It has become apparent their vision is more about profits and no real interest in supporting the US market. We regret it has come to this as we really tried (and wanted!) to make it work. However, we’re really excited about all we’ve learned and newly designed into our American Made portals that have been improved and (dare we say it?) re-created to perform optimally in our community’s off and on road environment! And as always, our goal is to supply the best quality at an affordable price!
Just understand Ron there is always more to a story. I did not want to bash Tibus over the Internet as I felt that was unprofessional. Trust me there is a lot more to the story
So for the past year Tibus portals were the greatest thing, but now it turns out you have evidence that they suck. But you're also rolling out "pretty much the same design with some small changes"
@@eriksteinholt I’m sorry I’m confused at where you got that! 🤣 where in anything did we say they suck! I said the people that run the company suck and are not honorable men! By the way, they did not design or manufacture these! it’s funny to me how the peanut gallery up there think that if there’s a problem, I should just sweep it under the rug and not address it. The problem has been addressed. We have made minor changes to the design to make it even better. Mainly things that make it easier to install and service. Let me go to be like other companies that would just say people are buying them, so leave it alone. 🤡
@@JoeRocca-zf2el buddy I think you’re getting conversations mixed up all I was telling this guy is you could change out the rear axle to the 73 inch wide one. That has nothing to do with the width of the overall track. That is what the axle is sold as mainly for the Baja kits. The stock axle comes at 69 inches.
Can you send me the video of me in the Pro R that went around you when you backed up? Or did you post the entire video somewhere? Took me months to find your video 😂
I seen this truck on DirtBilly Deluxe video Shawn was filming it. I paused the video on the truck. It was facing straight at us and I loved the stance it has. So i looked at the tent next to it and seen your RU-vid name and checked it out. This is the best looking Ford Bronco i have ever seen. Im a Chevy guy but this thing is Amazing wow. You did a good job on this Build.
Do we have to buy it with the ford performance tie rods? I would rather use FMI, or FABTECH heim tie rods. Also can we get the stage 3 housing anodized? I am going to assume that the steering rack allready comes with the stage 3 housing and the bushing pre installed?
The rack comes with the tie rods so you can sell them. I can send with it programmed and the housing separately so you can have it anodized if that helps. Yes we normally pre install so it’s plug and play.
So… I’m interested in doing your ultimate steering upgrade. But replacing the tie rods with heim tie rods. Wouldn’t that be a better upgrade than just the bronco buster brace?
It is a good upgrade we have had 100% success rate with the Ford Performance tie rods and our brace though. I mean if I can’t break it with 43 inch tires I don’t think you’re going to.
That's awesome you've joined up with Ford Performance! Great value. Question, would this be able to ship to a Ford dealership near me and have them install this package as long as they have the level of certification for such a job?
I have a 2023 non Sasquatch 2dr Black diamond. I’m doing just that and building my dream bronco one piece at a time. 😂😂 I have a pile of parts in the living room waiting to be installed on my bronco. 😊😊😊
Seeing those little shits use wrenches, remove tires, and drive a fork lift brings tears to my eyes!!! There’s hope after all for this country!! It’s them that will always save this place NOT the bankers and politicians!! It’s these kids!! God bless’em ✌💖&💡
Well she did gods work🥲 I live as a servant in the first city in CT outside of manhattan where all the hedge fund crooks come to build 75 million dollar homes pushing 50k sq ft with 35 bathrooms!!! Well around here all the kids were pushed to college and now the entire area doesn’t have a single kid who knows what a wrench is!! It’s devastating in this area and the trades are demolished!!! I nearly cried seeing these little rugrat miracles run circles around what grown men here couldn’t do without AAA 🥺 THANKS FOR RESPONDING GOD BLESS ✌💖&💡🇺🇸🥇@@BroncBustertx
Glad I could be the highlight of your weekend : >D Sorry I missed the live show. For all those keyboard mall crawlers out there I've wheeled some of the toughest trails out there: Hell's Revenge, Golden Spike, & Pritchett Canyon... and I messed up and ended up on my lid. I'm usually the guy that is helping other people on the trail, and that day I was the one that needed help. I couldn't have asked for a better crew to be wheelin' with. The right gear, calm, and methodical. Levi, Chris, Tyler, Doug, Shaun & Crystal, Alex, and Robert and few others that I didn't catch all contributed to getting me back safely to camp. I'm pretty sure Levi is part mountain goat! Chris did an awesome job directing even after his painful knee injury! I hope you get back to 100% soon Chris.
Can someone tell me what ditch lights he has got, I’m likin to them but can’t seem to find them online. View of them at 1:29 Scratch that, I’m retarded. Didn’t have audio on / was distracted earlier and didn’t hear him say …Nova site?
