Journalists don't reveal their sources. The question asked was the process of getting to the truth but getting it straight from the horses mouth. It was deliberately phased as a "report" of something that happened, not a statement of fact that it did happened. Journalists often aske people to comment on speculation. It gives the guy at the other end to confirm or deny. Walking out in a huff just makes it seem to me that things hit a nerve.

Unpeofessional was the ref...totally on one side....thats takes you out of business if you ever played...ypu know what i mean....there are many pens from boks never called. SA played all the game with 16.
Brenden Nel goes into detail about why he asked the question on his channel. Rumor was wrong about it being at half time and it apparently happened after the game. No evidence though. Agree it was we not the time and place given it’s the end of the tournament. It if did indeed happen it would have come out surely at some point. I am shocked at the volume of complaints by Argentine supporters online on a number of different posts about how bad the refereeing was. I had no idea. I personally didn’t feel any of the cards weren’t justified. Interested to find out what calls weren’t accurate or were potentially game changing.
However, the worst thing is not that more than half of the information was false, but that it was irrelevant. The match was important enough to ask a lot of questions and not just gossip.
