Hello, and welcome to my channel! I upload 4 times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). I react to songs I've never heard, but sometimes I review songs I've heard to delve deeper. As someone with depression and anxiety issues, this channel allows me to escape for a while and interact with others. Almost every video is copyrighted, and the owner allows the content to be used. I don't do this for money. I do it for the music.
Some other rarely listened to punk bands I like are: 1) D.O.A. "The Prisoner", 2) Dayglow Abortions "Here Today Guano Tomorrow", 3) Psychic TV "Godstar", 4) Angelic Upstarts "Teenage Warning", and Au Pairs "Armagh". The first two bands are Canadian and so I think you may have heard of them.
Once this iconic tune, you've had the privilege to listen to, is in your head. Ist not going anywhere.....absolute fookin quality....Best of the best.....still today, struggle with his dad.. but hey, gonna have to let it go, you know...
There's a duet between Morrissey and Sandie Shaw called 'Please Help The Cause Against Loneliness' which occasionally pops up on my YT feed. Might be worth a reaction.
So she had a relationship with Bob Dylan. It ended. Beautiful song. It's all ok. We will all be ok. Just try to meditate or get medication --- there's lots of good medication these days --- life is so hard without it. Something might be very helpful with medication? Everything will be ok. Yes? It will be ok. For real.
There is a much better version on RU-vid with T-Rex and Ringo on drums and Elton on keyboards. It’s. Total banger. And the video is very cool. It’s from 1973 I think. Also it’s a longer version.
I don't think there was any real bad blood between Jools and D&T. He had a lot of different projects and realized Squeeze was their band. He has returned and left a few times since. At one time he and his brother were both in the band!
Kit....socially awkward or depressed 28 year old, those whose family are trying to get him out of the house. Parents/friends telling him he is too old for bedroom posters. They love him and want him to meet people. The only contact his lips have is with a cigarette. Morrissey's lyrics really evoke emotion, imagery and discussion.
Ian Brown actually has a terrible voice in rl. The studio helped him out quite a bit and he shines on the album. Reni is a fantastic drummer. Pete Townsend once said he reminded him of Keith Moon.
Anyone who has ever been in a narcissistic relationship will recognize the indicators in her story. Heck, the song even starts with her describing his “Hoover.”
Glad you enjoyed man björk is one of my favourites as horn says sugarcubes are worth a listen too a bit more straightforward but some great songs. I would suggest 'declare independence' if you want a crazy sounding björk one i got the dj guy to play it in a bar once and people were a bit confused lol. Maybe 'unravel' that is beautiful ..or atopos her recent video where she is dressed as a mushroom with her tits out that one is good lol 🍄
Not a bad song imo would say I can see why it wasn't on maladjusted but I can't see why some of the tracks on that album ARE on there haha though I do really like many of them. 5.5/10 I like when Morrissey sings high and sounds a bit uncomfortable for some reason. Looking good by the way man was thinking about your weight loss video can tell a big difference here vs uploads a few months ago 🌞
Again...loved the review. As always, a classic Morrissey Track. Oh, quick follow-up question! What are the Head Phones. As lve seen you be dedicated to Sony in the past. James
I don't think this song would have flowed well on the Maladjusted album. But could have been a B-Side in my opinion. I personally don't really care for this song.
Bowie written song All the young dudes for Mott the Hoople references T Rex(man i need TV when i've got T.rex) as Bowie and Bolan both Tony Visconti produced and Bowie featured on Bolan's last TV Show "Marc".
Good stuff, boo. The film Billy Elliott uses T. Rex to the best effect ever. It gets me every time. “Ride a White Swan” is fun, but it’s “20th Century Boy” that will get your booty up and movin’…when you circle back…;)
Muchísimas gracias por hacer un analisis a la letra tambien. Me encantan tus videos. Esta es mi canción favorita de Morrissey. Nuevamente gracias. Es una letra brutal que realmente te trasporta directamente a todas las escenas de un niño perdido, que estaba entre prostitutas y lastimosamente terminó probablemente muerto. Una poesia total. Es mi perspectiva. Gracias por la tuya.
Loved this as a kid, still love it now. I can NEVER sit still when this is playing, great artist and even greater track. Love how you enjoyed a song from WAY back too. Marc was a hippy, his words were fun and serious, a nice mix. I went to the site where Marc passed a few years ago, so many tributes, photos, poems and so much more, STILL after all this time, he is still very much loved.
To me this is the sleeper of this classic album. The changes into the chorus really elevate it for me and the subtle production touches are great. For example the snare sound changes for like half a measure from the bridge to the first chorus (I .I.I got bad intentions..). It's a cool effect imo.
