I liked the Tracy Ullman cover, only because I fancied her as a 12 year old. It wasn't until years later I realised it wasn't her song.

Would recommend checking out 'Can't Stop Killing You' (co-written with Johnny Marr), or 'You Know It's You' (co-written with Mark Nevin from Moz's 'Kill Uncle' period, which she also apparently tried to persuade Morrissey to cover), as a start, but there are loads of great songs.

Wow. Have to admit I had no idea this was her song. And the Tracey Ullman cover was an almost identical lift (which always pisses me off when artists add nothing to a cover). Oh well, hopefully Tracey’s hit version put some money in Kirsty’s pocket at least.
