Romanian people are the best people from Eastern Europe post Soviet block ❤️🔥🤩 So energetic so smart so well educated and they speak beautifully English ❤ Greetings from Poland Andrei! 🎉
Yea no! Some of us don’t want the commitment of a full EV. EV charging infrastructure has only gotten worse. So a very efficient SUV makes sense in the market today 2024. Look at where EV sales are now vs hybrid cars. Plug in is where it is at for our current time. Not EV. Not yet.
The company will soon be toast, with accumulated losses exceeding $20 billion.. The loss per EVF exceeding $38,000 in 1Q24. Yeah, keep selling the car of tomorrow.
NO IT'S NOT A LOT TO ASK FOR the SILVERADO RST EV. You get every penny's worth and this truck can do things your V8 SILVERADO CAN'T. Plus you will save hundreds of dollars every single month when you compare charging your Silverado EV vs putting gas in your Silverado V8.
@@gregkramer5588 yeah, that is more accurate. When I looked at The Mach E, I just couldn’t get past how slow it charged compared to a Tesla, or an Ioniq.
It started charging as soon as the blue light turned on. The presenter didn't know when it actually started. It charged 2% before he turned the screen on.
@@gregpochet4812 with my truck, I'm full tank, bathroom break and a quick snack in 15 minutes. I like the idea, but it has to get a lot better before I buy one. If I just get gas, I'm out in under 10 minutes. And if change stations are limited, and someone is ahead of me, there goes my trip.
@@gregpochet4812 you want to justify driving an EV, and there is no justification. Unless you are a metro commuter. I am not. I run anywhere from my home in Texas to Georgia, Missouri and other points east, and all over Texas. Big state. I'm sure there are a fair number of people who do interstate travel. EV range is catching up, but the price and charge rate are ridiculous. When they get it right, I will consider one. But I won't drive an inferior, impractical vehicle while they "work the problems out." They are fun, I've driven one. But I have more fun on my GSXR.
The black paint on this truck blends in with all the black plastic cladding on this truck. Any other color, as in the blue paint they used on the initial pre-production vehicle really showed how much plastic was really used on this truck, hideous.
There are plenty of people that could easily afford the EV RST, the problem is, do they think this vehicle is worth the price. It isn't just the cost, but the opportunity cost of taking 100k out of investments to pay for it, and no longer making money on that 100k.
with full tank of petrol and full charge of battery, how much KM can you go? what is the range, i am asking in hybrid mode solely from start to finish?
EVs will not be widely accepted in this country until public charging (DC Fast or Level 2) is as simple, universal, and mindless as paying for gas at the pump. Drive up, plug in, swipe your credit card or pay with your phone when you’re “full”, drive away. No app required, no sign up required, no monthly or annual subscription fee required. Subscription fees make people feel like they’re stuck with one charging network, and very, very few people will be willing to pay multiple subscription fees. Eventually the majority of EV owners will be charging at home. I charge my EV at home and, realistically, expect to need a public charger no more than 3 or 4 times per year - and that would be DC Fast charging midday when I stop for lunch, or Level 2 charging overnight at a hotel.
Do me a favor do a real world test put 3 other people in the car and a bunch of junk in the back and then call me. Four people and some cargo adds up to almost half the rated payload Run the AC let's hear some music Run the speed of traffic like 80 or 90 miles an hour how most people drive on the freeway or the highway. Turn the lights on open a window let's see how far you get then Otherwise it's not a real world test. Don't even try to tow a boat or a car cause I can already tell you you're not gonna get very far.
Why not? After all, EVERYBODY can afford to buy a $100,000 car/truck. Right??? 🙃😱 The Rivian is a much better looking truck because its styling is simpler and the front end is not five fucking feet high. I know... I know... gotta LOOK tough! 🤮
The six foot bed puts this firmly into the full size half ton pick truck category. The $20k less figure for the LT model makes a more compelling business case to transition over to BEV.
Two hundred is not “a little bit more than twice” as big as one hundred twenty, the size of the Cybertruck battery pack. This is not very hard math here.
The video is a bit dated. I have fast charged my 2022 SL plus in 95 degree Florida heat several times in one day. The battery got hot, but never rapid gated on me. I also experienced 70 kWh charging on a 50 kWh charger. I don’t know why, but it was a nice bonus. Maybe Nissan changed something between model years?
