I don't know what caused me to think about this again but I was worried it was lost media. Only one of my friends knew what I was talking about. I'm so glad to have rediscovered this. I was learning 3d studio max 7 at the time it was released and seeing that Kaze could exist gave me a lot of hope for the future of independent 3d animation. Thank you so much for sharing.
Oh, thank you so much! I'm honored that it left such an impression! <3 It was a crazy li'l idea, just to see if it could be done, and hopefully inspire others such a s yourself who were also interested in 3D and making their own projects... even if they also were working with microscopic resources! :D Hope it helps ya, even now, to work steadily toward your dreams... no matter how crazy others might say they are! <3
The second half of your life is also being lived as a male. You can put makeup on, wear long dresses, cut your dick off, and inject yourself with artificial hormones. That doesn't make you a woman.
I'm afraid I don't have quick access to it... but something like the open-source, cross-platform app, Audacity, should beable to do it in no time flat! I'm so glad and honored to know that that song is still close to your heart! (Hard to believe it's now 20 years old!!! )
@@amadhia Unfortunately i cannot download programs like that onto my computer (not mine) but thank you anyway. Also when you make a banger, you shouldn't be surprised when you continue to have fans long after it's creation ^_^
Thank you. I truly am honored. It really feels good to know that something I did for love (and curiousity), brought such good vibes to others as well. <3
Thanks so much! At the moment it's a free web-app under the Apps section on my website: amadhia.com (that'll direct you to my new domain now that I'm going by my western name professionally more.) :) The app was the only thing that got me being able to read Kinko Tablature. I hope it'll help you too! <3
This is so amazing! Is it, or will it ever be available for mobile devices? I only have an iPhone and an iPad, but I really would love to work with your application! 🙏🕊️🙏
Thank you so much! I’m so glad to know that it’s being of help to others too! I built it in Unity3D, so it should run on iOS too, (it runs great on my Android). But… I’m a painter, and not really a programmer… and the ins-and-outs of getting something onto either the Google Play store or Apple Store has left me absolutely stumped. If you knew of someone with savvy in those areas, I’d absolutely love to work with them to get this able to be distributed that way. (Actually… there’s something even cooler that I made last year before I decided to focus 100% on art and spirit - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O-M-9jc3uxY.html it runs not only on tablets, but also in VR. But again… I’m at a loss as to how to get it into any stores. If you know of anyone, or meet anyone, reputable… I’d love to just simply get these out there to help others better than they can as web-apps.)
This is such a beautiful piece, and one that i hold close to my heart. Over the years, I've come back to this when I feel deeply melancholy and longing for home once again, an Equestria that we may never see again.. but this just hits right in the heart, and i love it so much. I don't know if you'll ever see this, but thank you for your beautiful work.
Thank you so very much for your kind words. To know that something so close to my heart, still has meaning for someone… that means so very much to me. I feel that melancholy and longing too. But I believe that souls are not bound by either time or space as bodies are. And if we do our best and live _this_ human life worthy of the good that that vision of Equestria shared… that lifetimes our souls may yet come to live may once again find us “…Back home in [our] Equestria.”
Thank you so much. It’s a song that means a lot to me on so many levels. I’m grateful for your kind words, and to know that that song touches you deeply as well. We’re all like candles, hopefully bringing a tiny bit of light into this world and the lives of others. <333
Hey! Thanks so much! I’m glad it made ya smile - I had waaayyy too much fun doing it! (I just _looovvvveee_ Cab Calloway too! What an amaaazing man! <3333
Is it possible to re upload this in a higher quality? Over the years youtube videos lose thier quality :C But i do remember watching this many years ago when i was younger <3
Thank you - I’m grateful that this little experiment still brings joy! I wish there were an easy way to upload a higher res. version, but it was rendered in NTSC. (LOL I didn’t even know about HD in 2004. XD )
its really interesting seeing items from the past of lackadaisy, when youve never seen them before. now that lackadaisy has a pilot, looking thru these stuff feels like digging up from ancient ruins
Thank you. Even though it’s almost 20 years old, I hope it continues to help people see that they can accomplish even huge things if they just keep at it every day. <333
Holy cats! That’s awesome to hear!!! Thanks for letting me know, (I’m so out of the loop nowadays,) I’ll have to drop Tracy a note! I’m so happy for her and her labor-of-love!!!
Thank you! I’m just playing ‘cause I love it - that anyone else wants to hear it, that’s a lovely bonus! <3 Hope you’re doing well! Drop me a line some time, would love to hear how things have been going for you these last few years! ~Ama
@@amadhia It's definitely been a while. :) A lot of things have changed since I probably last chatted with you, good to see you're still around. ;) How would I find you these days? :)
@@IridescenceStudios Thanks! It’s good to see you made it through the recent crazy times as well! Drop me a note by means of the contact form on the site that Amadhia.com sends you to. I’ll reply and then we can email back and forth as normal. Looking forward to hearing what’s new in your life! ~Ama
Thanks! Well, like they say, “If you don’t know what you can’t do…” plus a whole lot of patience and keeping-on, (like pretty-much anything worth doing). It was great meeting you as well! I was so impressed by Furry Fandom - so many super-creative people dedicated to “dreaming-out-loud”!
I bought the DVD when it came out, and then had the honor of meeting Amadhia at Anthrocon one year. Not very often you get to meet one of your heroes :D
Thank you so much, Dalan. I am deeply honored. I hope that you have been able to carry that Light forward, and inspire others in your own ways. This life is a gift, a blessing, and what better way to cherish it than to simply live true to the best-self that burns within each of us and to let that quiet truth inspire others to do the same.
I remember looking forward to this coming out, I still have the trailer in my archive of CGI creators. I remember reading everything you published about the making of this film, using a pickup with a camper shell as a sound booth (if I remember correctly). I have your book for lightwave at the time. I still use LW9.6 though these days I mostly use it for modeling 3d prints. Thank you for this. It's a fantastic animation, a wonderful inspiration, and now, a wonder piece of nostalgia. Thank you Amadhia.
Och, thank you. I’m honored that that little experiment touched you so deeply, and especially that it might have in some way kept you moving toward your own dreams/wishes/goals! I hope you’re able to touch others as well through the work that you, yourself, are doing - keeping them believing in what they can do if they enjoy the scenery-along-the-way of the awesome “grind” that is life! (Video-game reference - ‘cause RL has like, the _best_ ”skills-n-drops”, yeah? XD ) That’s awesome that you’re still using 9.6 - I still use 9.6’s modeler too. Something about it just “clicks” for me more so than any of the new tools. Keep on striving toward your dreams! Love the heck out of the journey. Share the joy you find in doing-so with others and keep that cycle of empowering, ongoing. Thank _you_ for letting me know I made a positive difference in your life. <3 ~Amadhia
I'm afraid that my work for this is "lost to antiquity," as they say. (I should have done better back-ups way back then.) I'm honored and glad that you like it so much, though! thank you!
Basically I grew up with your books on CGI animation and filmmaking. Thank you for them you didn't only teach me about animation but also gave me a vision of life that I mostly share. I'll watch your channel and wish you the best life ever. Your friend Alessandro Padovani from Italy.
Alessandro, thank you. I’m deeply honored to have made a positive difference in your life. I wish you wonder in your life, playfulness and creativity, as you explore what you love and share the joy that doing-so produces. I hope you create many, many great things as you, yourself have fun “daring to dream-aloud”!
Oh, thank you! But it’s really thanks to all the help I’ve had along the way - friends, teachers, mentors… without them I’d never have been able to make any of it happen. :)
Hi Dieter, that issue has been a strange frustration with the way I’m working-around WebGL’s limitations to make a sampler. What’s even more frustrating is that it does so on some systems, but not on others. I’ve worked-in a new method for playing sounds in the Beta2 version I’m working on, but that method uses things that WebGL doesn’t support - so Beta2 looks like it’s going to be only on PC/Mac/Android. I’ll have time in mid/late September to open this project up again and see if I can wrangle a fix into the WebGL version. I’m so sorry that that issue may be frustrating for you until then! …In the interim, try a different system if you can - even my iPhone and iPad run the webApp differently. If all else fails, reloading the page should restart the app and that seems to fix things at least with my Android.
Hi Emily, thanx for your answer! Strange, but on my Linux-system it works. For training purposes it helps a lot even without tones. I just started my way with the Shakuhachi. One more time thanks for your work!
I'm so glad that you have a system where the webapp behaves itself! No worries, you're totally welcome! :) I'm over-the-moon that it's helping others too! (The difference it made for me was profound... not just in _finally_ remembering the notation, but also with pitch accuracy. I hope it turns out to be a "secret sauce" for you too. And when you get to the point when you're recording and posting your work/progress/fun with shakuhachi, jot me a note! I'd love to watch where this journey takes ya!
Such great behind the scenes insights on how Babylon 5 was made! Looking forward to more videos about how the season 5 effects were made! Those space battles i Thirdspace were so epic! So many ships on screen and so many colors!!
Thanks so much! It was a great show to work on - great people to work with, and John Copeland ran the best production I’ve ever had the pleasure of working-on. We had a lot of fun pushing the envelope on Thirdspace… …and it almost got derailed when one of the studio’s RAID drives went down shortly after I finished modeling on the creature and Artifact. (Shant and Pat called that creature the “Evil Seafood Salad”.) …But that’s a story for another time. :)
@@marcodavinci3150 Och, that brings back memories… Bo and Mac… what good times. :) It’ll be a few months before I can even think about carving out time for more VLOG’ing again, but knowing that others are out there that are interested in hearing the crazy, behind-the-scenes stuff that went on, that’ll help motivate me to get back in front of the camera and record some more! :)
Thank you! It was just a test, really, to see if something like it _could_ be done. And technology has moved so far forward since 2004. If it’s inspired others to make their own films and bring light and dreams to life for others to share, it’s done its job. <3
Thank you! Robuki is so difficult to describe without sounding really “out there.” But I’m glad you’ve felt that indescribable-something too while practicing it! :)
Och, I _so_ want to do this! Doing it "properly" would be a bit involved for my cobbled-together little thing here, so getting a really good score print-out will have to wait for the big version of the app, but I'll try to bang something together in the next few weeks for this version that'll hopefully be a decent stop-gap! :)
Thank you so much, Shawn! I’d never have been able to make sense of so many areas of the tablature without your help! I’m super-geeked to be working together with ya as this little proof-of-concept grows into something hopefully really cool! :D
Thank you so much! We hope that conventions will be returning soon as well, and that everyone and their loved ones will have safely weathered this pandemic!
Oh my goodness, thank you so much! You've been in my thoughts a lot over these last months and years too! Quinn and I are doing well, thank you -- I hope you and your love are as well! Jot me a note by means of my contact form at amadhia.com , I'd love to get back in touch and hear how you've been! *many, many hugs!*
@@amadhia I will, my dear sis!!! Absolutely!!! I have been in a hermit mode this past years and just last summer I started to kind of come out of my cave!!! :D I will write to you soon!
