From the beginning, I have been saying that instead of this complicated lift type steel bridge, they should go for a high level concrete bridge at the same level as the road bridge. Don't understand why Railways went for this complicated design which is also difficult to maintain. Very strange.

@@princeshah120 E loco will stop before the lift bridge, the trainwill move because of the acceleration by the train. Once the train cosses the lift portion, thru the pantograph E loco will get power and move forward. This is practised for all trains on the diamond crossing near NGP in CR railway.
At time 2:29 I see one of the employees is walking on the Centre Bridge without any safety harness which is objectionable. In case of any untoward accident the entire project would come to a halt and everyone would start abusing the Company, IR, GOI etc. Let the workers wear all requisite PPE to avoid damage to themselves and avoid problems to others as well. Let the Supervisors note this and take appropriate action and insist using PPE.
Hope the Control room is equipped with two stand by Generators with adequate capacity to run the power generation during external power failure and also immediate start of Generator with in few seconds when external power gets tripped.
Proper SOPs to be displayed in control room. Ensuring adequate fire fighting equipments. Sufficient lighting both internal and external. Proper rest room with a small pantry for the working staff. Basic First aid and sufficient life jackets. Proper protection of control room building particularly with heavy tide of the sea.
