I just hope that they did plan something about the electrification of the lift portion as well, rather than getting the lift span in place and going "oops!". My bet is that they would use a solid rod catenary for the lift portion, with contact points to the rest of the electrification at the ends of the lift span. The power would be disconnected when a ship comes in, the portion could be lifted, and then when it is over, the portion would be lowered and power resumed for the train.
