I am just a Husband, Father, Grandfather and a Navy Veteran doing home improvement, landscaping, woodworking, 3D printing, shop projects, tool reviews, and auto care. Learn with me, and help me learn as we tackle all these different projects!
Tell you what back in the day if a car went into water above the distributor cap than we have major malfunction so pop the distributor cap spray wd-40 all inside the cap and your good to go. Bet me?
Make sure the lever is in the detent and lift the handle up to off or on. If it cannot switch the unit off, you may need to replace. Let me know what model and I can recommend a replacement icemaker.
Whenever a battery corrodes in a flashlight, radio etc,I clean the corrosion off and spray the terminals in the item with WD 40 and it the item works fine and the corrosion doesn't come back.
I never register anything and they take it back. I just returned the 18v 2 gallon Chemical Sprayer to Home Depot after 9 months and no issues. The service centers are a joke they told me a year to look at my lawnmower. RETURN RETURN RETURN lol
NO drip edge or gutter apron? Was hoping. That is the problem I am running into. Amerimax is flat on the back edge, so can't just slip it under the current drip edge. Trying to find a way to get it done. Any ideas???
@@DadItYourselfDIY also yes I screwed the nut on there properly but for some reason the outside handle on toilet is still loose so perhaps I just get new handle just learning as I don't need nosy landlord here😁
It can easily be scaled. 7' would make the transportation a little easier, but it doesn't affect the price very much. An assembled wheel is about $8000.00 plus transportation.
@@DadItYourselfDIY Ryobi is for homeowners who look at a project and say, “I like it, good enough.” Festool is for professionals that are judged on the quality of their work. It’s a completely different standard.
@@DadItYourselfDIY it wasn’t meant as an insult. Homeowners can be as skilled as as a pro. Sometimes they *are* pros. The difference is homeowners have all the time they need and can take as many cracks at it as they want. A professional carpenter is expected to get it done right the first time and any flaw is judged much more harshly. Don’t take it personally. I’m sure you’re good at what you do.
@sswwooppee I'm a professional general contractor, finish carpenter, and an advanced hobby woodworker. Doing it all with Ryobi. A sharp blade, a straight line, patience, and skill. The archer is who kills the enemy, not the arrow.
Hello, friend. I would prefer to build my own track saw because it's quite accurate i supposed, enjoyable, and simple to do. All righty and that's what we want something interesting DIY ,maybe you can show your own DIY and i know you have some ideas 😁so i can copy yours, it's fun .
I actually installed one, and my 6500 generac did power the entire central AC. However, I'm sure it was pretty much at its maximum capacity. That being said I won't be powering the central AC in an outage.
@nathanallsup1224 I have a similar situation in that if I run my dryer and/or water heater (both 240v) I could overload. But who does laundry during a power outage!?
No. You would have to bypass the interlock. This is dangerous and illegal. The way it's wired, you are plugging the house into the generator, not the other way around. If you plugged the rv in and left the mains on, the port is dead. If you flipped the interlock, the house would draw from the RV.
Really nice work on the lawn! I’ll be following your template next year. Do you already have a video on fall lawn care? I definitely want to get a jump on the before I miss my window this September. Regarding the roundup, agreed perfectly safe unless you’re the one mixing and applying (then there is a moderate cancer risk, and then it’s prolonged exposure that is the problem). I’m not anti-chemical at all (I may or may not have worked for the parent company of roundup as a chemist at some point). Use the proper PPE and you’ll be fine - wear disposable nitrile gloves while mixing and applying, and an N95 while pouring and mixing. Also, take a shower and wash clothes when done (glyphosate is water soluble and regular detergent has no problem washing it away).
Not a gas mower it's an electric weed eater ha ha love you videos 3.5 in. height they say. I like it alittle short like you but I have never had a really full lawn I would have it higher then.
I use a 15" PVC Pipe (usually the grey electrical conduit pvc pipe). Hammer it in the ground and then pull it back out with those pliers. Dump the dirt out, then put it back in the hole. Mine has been in 10+ yrs and probably pulled it out 2x to clean out the dirt. Don't concrete it in! Use a longer pipe and lower your rod instead. I have 180 lb goats and they always test the gate. It's solid with no movement!
Probably not. This was a one off for a contest we were in. The Wheel of Fortune wheel is 16' in diameter and weighs 2500 pounds. Where would we even put it.
Great video! I am looking to update my current laminate countertops with this Wilsonart product. How cost effective is the Wilsonart product as I will need to use professionals to do the job?
I purchased this item a few weeks ago but haven’t opened it as I’m not sure if I like that price point (almost as much as my Ryobi mower). But after seeing your video, and one other with positive comments, I might be swayed to keep it 😌😌🤷🏼 Thanks for sharing 🎉🎉
@@DadItYourselfDIY Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind when making my decision. My yard needs a lot of work so maybe I should just bite the bullet and open it up ☺️
Just get 2mm thick 40x40mm aluminium L profile (can probably be 30x30 or 50x50 or smth aswell) and cut to 40,5cm length, put to bracket and done. You can position the L profile two ways, to close or to open the back flap. It cannot fall out, can only come out from top. You can thank me later.
Nice job. You make it look so easy. I will be selling a rental property in a year and normally I do most of the renovation work myself, however I’m getting a little older now, and I don’t have a router so I’m going to be looking for someone with your skills to do new kitchen counters before I sell. Now I know what to expect. Thanks.
The reason why the wheel takes so long to spin, is because the actual wheel weighs about the same as the Wheel of Fortune Wheel. Its literally the weight. When I watched your previous video, I noticed that the wheel was going backwards when it was not actively spinning. That would have meant the wheel was unbalanced, which can effect how often the wheel will land on a particular number. The wheel should only travel after having movement from an outside force. -- This is an amazing project. I'm glad your wheel found a new home!
