love this. we were on the same flight. i was in seat 6K. there were few business class passengers but that was more of a private cabin compared to the main one which i didnt see. it seems silly not to fly in business for 80 euro. had a good meal service for such a short flight.
If I had all the money in the World and could buy one of these aircraft,I'd do it in a heartbeat.And I would travel all over the Earth on it.There is just nothing else in the World like flying on a "Classic" 747,in this case the SP version. It was truly a unique aircraft back in the 1970's and the 1980's and part of the 1990's, that likely we will never see something similar like it fly ever again.
Wow!!! I wondered if there were any aircraft that had an elevator on board! Do you know if there are any other manufacturers of aircraft besides Ilyushin that make/made aircraft with an elevator on board? Are there 2 elevators next to each other? Does the aircraft have 2 elevators total? 0:16 Does the elevator have an internal door (car door) that opens vertically? Are the elevators used by members of the public, or only the crew?
upanddownadventures 1. Lokheed did with the L-1011 Tristar. 2. There were 2 elevators, we for whatever reason flew the IL-96. 3. Not really. 4. No, only crew used them.

747SP I'm going to fly with this airplane(KUL to IKA) in a few weeks and I'm a little bit afraid of it b/c it's so sooo old and still flying. How many people were there in business class? (going to fly business as well)
