Hi my name is RJ, and I'm a professional guitar player in Nashville, TN. On this channel you will see: Gear Demos, Guitar Lessons, Tour Vlogs, and lots of GUITAR related content. I'm like a life coach..... As long as your life revolves around guitar. 😉
you like your action REAAAAALLLLLLY low don't you? i can hear it haha is this amp worth a shit bro? it sure looks cool....they always scored high in the aesthetics category in my humble opinion
This fucking guy!!! You and I weve got our guitar heroes and legends. But damn it RJ.. you Never play the same stuff twice. But you are without a shadow of a doubt provide the absolute best guitar content and you jam session like these are an eargasm. Love your work hombre
In regards to sound change on your guitar using a curly cable. This is true. It's very subtle but it's there. Which why I bought a fender Hendrix signature curly cable.
Guitar players are some of the biggest suckers for "magic dust" pedals,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I guarantee that changing your speaker will make so much more of a difference to your sound than all the "magic" pedals!.
Hey Ron I was just wandering if you could demo the GOAT sustainer pedal that looks just like this one that they just came out with abot three or four months ago
.. way to expensive for what it is… Guitar innerts.. 2 potis and a cap.. ignore the switch and the pickups for now… Trebble bleed adds a cap and resi to the volume pod parallel… 3,5€ if you buy them 0,15 if you buy in bulk and 15€ if it is from a guitar store.. „bit it has to be an orange drop from Mexiko build during the Summer“… then go to mexico and buy them for 0,04$ (i think i saw 20$ once on the Gibson homepage) Now all this circuit does it add some resistors in line or parallel to basicly increase or decrease the value of those 5 parts may they ad a high cut filter as well.. another resistor and a cap.. basicly the same that is already in there with your tone knob but to cut your low frequency to lower or increase the values just add another one in.. still the same 5 parts bit you stack parts on top of them.. parralel or in line depends.. capacity is responding to frequency different and the resistor sais how hard So for me it is like… water pipes with 3 valves and 2 additional outlets in different positions… and now charge 100€ to let you open a valve a little more…. Guitarist.. especially the Orange drop guys will pay even 150$… but i still think it is bad practice…. And i do think some people would like a treble bleed.. the always on 10 players… The ones that use a volume more ofthen tend to leave it on 8 ish and see 10 as a way to cut.. instead of a tube screamer or boost pedal… other than that i would use a volume pedal bit not everybody does
Sounds like you got several tonal variations to me. People who slam active pups seem to forget the guitar, amp, any pedals one uses have knobs on them to alter the tone. Unfortunately, most people just parrot what they hear other people say without knowing what they are talking about.
Thanks for the video, this is without a doubt the best video on this subject I’ve ever watched and I have watched hundreds over the years, this is also the first time I have watched one of your videos, you are a very talented player and unlike most videos on this subject don’t try to trick someone into agreeing with your opinion. Good luck keep playing and will try to keep following your channel.
All I want is to be able to record myself playing rhythm, then play the melody, and record myself playing both at the same time. I know a lot of melodies, but without rhythm it doesn't sound full. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
