I visited the Abbey in early 1974 with 3 friends of mine. They wandered off & left me to absorb its magic. I can assure you that the hours I had on my own was a revelation in itself, which I have shared very selectively, with sincere persons & have not told anyone for at least 40 years. While total solar eclipses are fascinating, exciting and fun to view, they are strictly an astronomical event, hightly and accurately predictable hundreds of years in advance, have zero effect on ANY so called astrological forecast OF or FOR ANYbody. By traveling the world since viewing my first one in 1980, I now have managed to view ten, but will miss this one, even though it will occur within my home country, for at the age of 83, I do not feel like riding my Honda ST-1100 motorcycle that far (Over 2000 miles one way)....at this point in time.
