I think you are completely misreading the U.S. election. Kamala won’t be the nominee and the democrats are in an incredibly favorable position. The donors will pick someone like Whitmer from Michigan who has very low negatives and there won’t be enough time for Trump to tear her down. She won’t be saddled with Bidens failures and can run as a candidate for change. Everyone is paying lip service to Kamala to not alienate people who support her, but those supporters are a lock for the dems regardless of who is picked.
