I was actually considering this for a cruise but beings I haven't had a vacation for 30 yrs,I don't believe this cruise line is good for me I'm disabled and don't want to sqander my money and be treated like shit.
We just got off the Gem last week. It was disappointing. There were to many nights where there was to few shows or they were terrible. One example is the versus show in Spinniker on Thursday. WOW was it terrible! Also, the golf ranges only had lefty irons. No woods or right handed clubs. Both basketball hoops have bent rims. Many of the shuffle board courts didn’t have pucks or sticks. We finally found one that did have both and the sticks kept breaking. It was annoying! Like mentioned in another comment, the cruise director was nonexistent. Finally, the first 2 days, nobody on the ship had any tv. It was broken for some reason. Also, our shower had the worst pressure ever. We showered in water that trickled out of the shower head. Now I don’t want people to think I didn’t like this cruise. I did! However, I was just disappointed about a few things.
What’s it like with carrying alcohol on. I went a few years ago and it was 2 six packs per person or 1 bottle of wine. I read policy online it says you can start with 1 six pack per person and then at every port add 1 six pack per person for consumption.
Wow. This is a huge comedown from Oasis. Just Wow! Wife booked this ship because her family lives near Baltimore, so this was it. I'm already claustrophobic.
This video is outdated, they have removed the aromatic suite and thermal stone chairs and replaced them with cabins. Total bullshit considering even their website still advertises those amenities.
