Norwegian Getaway is a cruise ship of the Norwegian Cruise Line. She was built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, and was delivered to her owner on 10 January 2014. At the time of her christening she was the world's ninth-largest cruise ship with a passenger capacity of 3,969 and a crew of 1,640. It's sister ship is the Breakaway.

Just came back from the transatlantic cruise. This was from April 29th through May13th. The American diner was closed throughout the trip due to weather I guess, don't really know. But all in all the cruise was great. Good entertainment and food for sure. The only thing that they need to correct is where the smokers are located next to the pool. If the idea was to eliminate the smoke for people who don't smoke or enjoy inhaling smoke, then they missed it completely. When walking by, you start to smell the smoke at least 50 feet before and after the area. Not to mention that it is located in a prime area next to the pool.
