It's just a series of pipe that goes around the base with holes drilled into it, once every 6 months, you blow air down this to disrupt the big growth accumulated on the larger rocks close to the base. Air from a compressor or the blowing end of a shopvac. I have a video on how to flush it. Hope this helps. Please like and subscribe for more, will be making another one of these in the near future, stay tuned for that. Thanks for watching

The drum filter is the most effective, given that it does not need to be cleaned. It has automatic smart cleaning, and good filters have emergency systems and a system that can work without electricity for several hours; when electricity is supplied, the filter turns on and continues its work without any problems.

@@loadedoperator7 oh I subbed some time ago. Yeah I received a manual and I couldn’t find anything either. That specific piece didn’t have anything tagged to it. @@dwainetyncompany you have 1 year warranty, first tank of fuel, let it idle and rev occasionally. Then you've properly broken in that engine, it's a great saw, I have an original 1985 MS 460 first year, going to turn it into a hot saw. I'll post a video when that hurdle is cleared, also will find out what that thing is on top.

@@loadedoperator7 My dealer offers a two year warranty if I purchased fuel or mix oil. I went with the fuel because I don’t run pump gas through my saws. I’ve owned the 261 for several years now and have many hours slabbing and bucking with it. This Sunday I’m going to be running the 661 on some 45” diameter maple logs. My first day with it I turned it on for about 15 minutes and let her idle with a rev here and there. When I broke in my 261 I ran it like I have always ran it. I was cutting slabs with it, freehand, on my second tank of fuel. First tank was bucking some rounds out. The 661 I’m a little nervous I’m not going to lie. I got the 36” bar and my goodness it’s a heavy son of a gun. I’m 100% comfortable running saws but I’ve not owned nor ran anything bigger than my 261. I definitely needed the bigger saw. So much work to be done that my 261 can’t handle effectively. Maybe I’ll make a video of my endeavors.

I have had all kinds of sharpening tools from Dremel style to the all in one tool but the best way to sharpen a chainsaw is to do it by hand with a round file, you start to feel the smoothness of each tooth, for every 3rd sharpening, you have to lower the rakers in order to have clearance for the teeth to bite, I will explain it in a soon to be video, thanks for commenting and watching, please consider sharing and subscribing to my channel as it really help me out.

@@bartstewart1807That all depends on the kind of woman you have children with, my wife is 4'11", 5'2" in heels and she is always outside helping me with anything and everything, when you live remote, you depend on each other to get things done, my wife has been wanting to learn how to use a chainsaw, but I like her pretty face and want it to remain that way, I got her a pole saw which she uses and maintains, keep her beautiful looks far away from any kickbacks. Some women are cut from a tougher cloth. I'm lucky, she is the only thing good that I found in LA. Yes most women won't do this kind of work but you may be lucky. The arborist company that came to drop the huge dead Douglas fir had a bunch of bearded men with tattoos and 1 small lady in the crew, she was the lead in that crew and went up around 150' in the bucket truck, then climbed out of the bucket and climbed the tree the rest of the way with spikes and started sectioning the tree from the top down, she let the guys drop the stump she left and they used my saw as they couldn't get theirs to run. There are women out there with balls bigger than most men I know in LA figuratively speaking. Lol

Hi, Im in the process of building a pond and trying to figure out what type of filtration media to use. My pond is in the ground and about 16x10 and 3 to 5 ft deep. Do you think rock and gravel would be better than k1 or k2 media? Oh and I will have a large waterfall flowing into it also for airation.
@loadedoperator7
@loadedoperator7 11 месяцев назад
So I would still filter through large then medium then fine gravel and then have the K1 and K2 media on the top in mesh bags, after the large stuff has been filtered out by the rocks, the K1 and K2 media is for beneficial bacteria to grow colonies. The water fall will help oxygenate your water. Sounds like you're on the right track, send me a video when you're done. If you have anymore questions don't hesitate to ask, please subscribe to my channel, best of luck and hope this was helpful
