Personally always thought Vax was hotter this moment ALWAYS makes me switch to team Percy when i hear it. Mean come on whats hotter than a man not only standing up to your 'Bag of cocks' dad but doing so by declaring your nobility, demanding respect to your name, and give you a piece of his home, his most prized possession! All in one single sentence? If didn't end up marrying him I would have been so disappointed. Bravo to Talsin for this iconic moment, truly.
I wish they kept this in the show, but as I was writing this I realised it literally doesn't matter what Daddy elf thinks, he's still offered it and they had that little chat about nobility where Vex fully realises what Percy means to her. Come to think of it, failing to convince him suits Percy more in the show due his fail streak continuity, because of his unusual character arc in season 2. It would have actually been strange if he was successful. The annoying thing is that it could make his arc in season 3 too predictable for people that haven't even seen the campaign.
I came back to watch before hopfully seeing it animated, I had forgoten that it had happened infront of an audiance. That makes the scene so much better
Soooooo is tonight the night we get this scene in TLoVM? I sooooooo hope so, I can't wait for people that haven't seen the stream to see this in the show.... I SO love it. I kinda hope they do keep Laura's reaction on Vex's face lol and the mic drop that Taliesin does.
Sam's "Tea spit-take" is a perfect example of his seeming inability to not inject himself into a scene that doesn't focus on him. It's one of his most annoying traits/habits.
"You're in her DMs while I title her Baroness of the Third House of Whitestone and Grand Mistress of the Grey Hunt... We are not the same." -Percival Frederickstein Von Musil Kowalski De Rolo III
I thought this clip was going to be an instance where Percy dealt more than 100 points of damage in a single round.. .. and that's exactly what I found.
This scene really set the context for when Percy died later, after the Anna Ripley fight -- where Vex acknowledges to everyone that her heart had always belonged to Percy, even after what happened here. Watch the scene from that episode to hear Laura's heartfelt message to Percy, even though he wasn't even at the table.
@@wholesome_masochist4113 : As far as I know, these are the death counts for each member of Vox Machina, during Campaign 1 (not the animated series): Keyleth: 1 (Jumping off a cliff -- "Keyfish") Pike: 1 (pre-stream -- this is why Pike has white hair, instead of dark hair) Vex: 2 (Finger of Death from Delilah Briarwood; Triggering a trap that held the armor of the Raven Queen) Vax*: 3 (Against Sylas Briarwood; Against Hotus the Rakshasa; Strangled by Artagan) Scanlon: 1 (Against Raishan, the Diseased Deciever) Grog: 2 (Against the beholder in the Underdark, Kraghammer Arc; Killed by Craven Edge, a sentient weapon that is cursed) Percy: 2 (Against Dr. Anna Ripley; Against Raishan, the Diseased Deceiver) This does not count the times a member of VM fell unconscious and was healed within a round of falling unconscious. *Note: Vax, in the end, never truly dies, as the Raven Queen collected on the deal that Vax struck with her. Scanlan had planned on using a 9th level spell slot for Wish against Vecna, but ended up using it for Counterspelling Vecna's last 7th level Teleport spell, thus sealing Vax's fate.
I'm watching The Legend of Vex Machina, somehow (thanks google) I got a lot of recommandations of videos showing what happened with CR, and how it translated to the animated series on Prime Video, I watch them and enjoy them, and then I end up with videos that do no refer to the animated serie, and omg I love what I hear and see. I'm going to watch what Critical Role did, because it's seems awesome !!!
