Never any fun when your boat is on stand still. That being said.grate video. I hate when the bit is on .a d the wheather get rough. Until next time fish on
@2:00 "reeling" up the slack with your thumb by rolling the spool back, so you could set the hook one handed, while holding the net for your boy was a top tier move. Good shit 👏
Thank you for watching! The music has a back story :) I'm sure you get it. As far as the bucktail goes, we are hitting bottom. You want the noise and "puff" of the bucktail hitting the bottom.
No. Those marks are only saved onto the gps. If you make community edits and upload them, other can see them. If your putting marks on your gps, only you can see them. Great question

I fish New Jersey and have many of your top 10 Gulp grubs in my bag. My go to are pink shine and then white for the bucktail and 6 inch glow swimming mullet for my plain hook teaser. Best advice is to watch the other anglers to see what Gulp they're using to catch fluke or ask the mates. Also be interested to know whether you start with Gulp by itself and then enhance it with fluke belly strip or squid/spearing if not getting bites. Thank you for the videos. Enjoy watching them.
Beginning of the year I use pink shine and white almost exclusively, then as bait fish start to show I'll start going with chartreuse, blue fuse, salmon red. This year has been off to a great start
I got serious bad luck when i fish i was out with my brother he caught 6 fish i caught zero we went out again i caught 0 he caught 3 more i only caught 4 fish by baiting them and netting all of them at once
#1 - Pink Shine, #2 White Glow, #3 Chartreuse, #4 White, #5 Salmon Red, #6 Blue Fuze, #7 Nuclear Chicken, #8 Pink, #9 Fire Tiger, #10 Mackerel. Cannot believe you did not have chartreuse in you top ten....blashphemy!! 😄
Why do you pick certain spots for the beginning of the season? Do the sea bass head to deeper water after July? Thank you for all the videos. I'm going through them again to prepare 😂
Thanks a lot for watching! Fish migration is one of the biggest factors when finding fish on a consistent basis. Sea bass will migrate out of the Sound and head to deeper water for the summer before making their big migration south. Then they do it all over again heading back north. Great question
@@nextdriftfishing thank you. I just got my boat in the water. This is my 3rd season and your videos were a huge help. Have you done a sea bass specifically for sea bass? Thanks again
Great question. It's called an Acid wrap or Spiral wrap. The purpose it to keep the line from touching the rod blank. It increases line speed coming off the reel.
Believe it or not, the spiral wrap originated in freshwater bass fishing. It was created by Bud Erhart in 1995. It was called the Bud Erhart Fishin' Stick.
Great video I’m an old timer bass tourney guy, just got my ranger out after 2 or 3 years of moth balls. Feels good to fly on the water again. A lot of salt water fishing. Great content, keep it up. Tight lines Bob
I agree that barrel swivels can be annoying. I use a uni to uni just because I know how to tie it fast. However I have a hard time seeing how it eliminates stretch. The difference would be so minimal
