They have like 450 whp that makes me lol literally! Thats was quick 20 years ago! The 370 ft lbs of TQ is what really makes me lol literally! What a giant POS

Great video, ive tried talking myself into buying a GT350 for some time. No luck so far but this information is helpful. You always hear about the issues owners have and its nice to have the curtain pulled back and all of us to see just how much trouble one of these can be. I still want one so i guess im stupid but thank you for the honest review!

Should you buy a Mustang GT350 in 2024? What about last year? What about next year? If it's unaffordable now, it may as well be more unaffordable later, as the economy only gets worse.
@AwesomeFinish

Good stuff man! I've wanted one since they came out but I hear so many horror stories like yours and some even worse. It's sad because it's one of the sexiest looking Mustangs ever made. It'd almost be better to just coyote swap it and get rid of the POS flat plane engine all together. But that kinda defeats the purpose. I guess the best compromise is just to buy a GT500...

That's the problem when you own a performance car of any make. You gotta pay to play and that requires deep pockets or an extended warranty. I wanted a 350 back in 2018, but the anxiety of paying for repairs that I knew would some day come drove me away.

To put this into perspective, I'm also an Audi guy and those things can reach scary $ fast if something breaks. Right now I'm down to 3 vehicles and shifting my focus to muscle cars from the late 60s early 70's. Something that I can work on or won't cost me an arm and a leg if it breaks.

Seems they have a lot in common which is believe is why the c7 is tamed and not a crazy red line like these. Any thing over 600-650 we are advised to do pistons and rods

Varg, first of all, you are a straight up honest guy and I will subscribe to your channel... Secondly, you absolutely do not buy this type of car used if you don't know what the history is... I literally think that you were a victim of the previous owner's extreme thrashing of the car... Don't get me wrong, this car is a heavy duty beast that was built to run hard, but there are owners out there that do not understand the oil temperature rules on a car that already has a sensitive oil pump system... Etc, etc... and yes, as good as that Tremec is, it can still be destroyed given the right child driver... One quick rule I tell folks who are buying a used modern muscle car, look at the rear tires before you buy and the underside of the rear fenders behind the wheels... How did they look on yours? Anyway, you get the point... Good luck with your new car...

You are very lucky. Your warranty should have been voided once you started replacing an alternator and purge valve. That is a fact. Your dealer you take it to is not legit within Ford policies. Aftermarket parts MUST be approved by Ford. If not avalable from Ford. For ANY warranty claims.Harness sounds like rodent damage. Which is why paid out of pocket. Keep going to your ford dealer because elsewhere will not happen.

I watched the whole video. It's great to hear from an owner that honestly shares his experience. I too love my 2019 GT350. I haven't had any issues with at all so far. It currently has 13k on the clock. I think since it's never been tracked that might be the difference. I'm not saying that the car shouldn't be tracked because that's what I believe it's built for. There's just usually consiquences to racing them. I also did a ton of research before I bought it. I bought used and it was a certified pre-owned that had no major mods. Just the ones that should have been done by the factory like the oil catch cans and hood shocks. I also got the extended warrenty through Ford called "Ford protect". The FBA Gold plan is a 72/60k along with the FBA powertrain 84/100000k for just under $3000. I too agree that all that could or does go wrong with these cars is worth it. I've owned several cars in my life. A 2012 STI, 2013 Challenger SRT, 2007 Z06 Vette, 2007 AMG SL55 and a 2012 Camaro ZL1. Some of those cars were faster but none of them delivered the type of driving experience that the GT350 does. If you don't smile stepping out of that drivers seat you should go get yourself a Prius.
