In the beginning you said to play in solo mode. Then later you posted on screen that if you run out of gas, call the fuel rats. But the rats can only help you if you play on the live server. Perhaps you need to say that you switched to live server at some point? If you did, i must have missed it. sorry!

Okay, i dont know how but for me planets looks completely different ( i have odyssey). Planet with pollonium doesnt have triple craters and i looked for 10 minutes around to make sure. Grinding these mats is real pain

I only have a few hours but i totally disagree with the thought process of building a walkable mineshaft "incase" you run out of hydrogen. just build it verticle, and if you do run out of jetpack fuel, THEN you build a walkable mineshaft, Upwards which is easier. The amount of time you save with the verticle mine shaft is like.... 15 seconds per trip probably?

For new players I highly recommend farming nanites earlier than going to a space station and buying a gold scanner mod this will increase your income from scanning but anywhere from 6,000 to 9,000% I'm not sure if this is intended or a bug.

Just started out No Man's Sky on PC. It is very hard to die in this ship in PVE. When loosing the shields just go away, recover and come back. You have the speed you have the hull to escape. The ship is awesome. The regular python even if it is a pocket battleship (because of the bigger power distributor on par with the Cutter) is not so enjoyable in combat.

I really need help with the "joining/finding a player faction". I don't get how hawk found all these missions within the same system.

I got into NMS from a Hawkes Best Start a few years ago with now 1600hrs under my travelling belt (because Odyssey ruined ED for me), so I didn't need to watch this but alas, I did. Why? It's Hawkes. I mean c'mon, it's Hawkes. His videos are always worth watching.

If anyone’s struggling with the glyphs, you can start the Atlas Path quest. At some point every jump will give you a glyph. Also the base computer archives quest will give you quite a few building plans.

What are the chances you can do a more in depth video of expansion farming for the boom trading very interested in this. However have not been able to replicate this.

The S class Freighter hunt. An excellent example of how statistics can be used to manipulate perception. You are 200% more likely to get an S class ship in a ☆☆☆ economy. Thats huge, right? Right. Cus you have a .5% chance to get one in a ☆☆ and a whopping 1% chance in a ☆☆☆. That's 2 times better odds. 😂 All hail RNJesus.

I am actually glad they patched out the free ship reclaiming bug. I always told myself... we are doing this legit on this run. I enjoy the grind... its No Man's Sky not Have All The Things Immediately. And then rack up 500,000,000 in cheezed ships. 😂

nice beginner guide m8 a little pro tip for everyone ( the one about converting pod into mining ship as already been covered but its a must to speed up dramaticly as some pointed out .. and its just darn fun haha ) first real tip is ---- use the gps command by pressing enter then type /gps ( name of location ex: iron deposit ) saves a good amount of point and click ... for pure vanilla players ( NO DLC ) its a good tip to find the builder neutral npc ( might take a few respawns to get the right datapad and build assembler + refinery with 1 power module + 3 speed modules to start refining faster ( quantity of the yield module at the start is irrelevant since you will make a buttload of ore trips no problem ) and priority tip after you start building more than one grid parked on each other ... do no use P you will disconnect all grids from each other and it can create err ... problems but hey youre an engineer its fun having problems haha :D enjoy the game with the new update to come advice to everyone take your time to learn/build/perfect/practice ... youll need it :) cheers all hope tips helps some

You aren't any longer able to manoeuver the mining head with the mouse, correct? It moves the whole ship now and I can't find a configuration to move the head only like it used to be.
