Thank you, there's a tribute band, Tubeway Days, that have totally nailed the 79-81 sound with modern synths...not my thing at all, tribute bands, find them very toe-curling, but even the lead singer sounds very similar to Numan.
That's very kind of you but tbh the only part where I think I am in the ballpark of the 79 live version is with the sound of the Minimoog. There's loads missing, Ced's fantastic drumming and Paul's unique bass playing, plus quite a few keyboard parts and of course Gary's vocals...!
My parents bought me the ‘The pleasure principle’ for Christmas when I was 15, man, I wore that LP out I played if so much, it’s epically good. The sounds, the arrangements, the production, everything was on point.
Yes Mike just thought I would re check your creations. Love this , my friend ,love it. Look at those effects , and the ability to manipulate in real time is what I do in logic on my guitar with effects, but not as good as this.

Thank you! Gary was a true original, hard to believe that he wrote 4 albums in 2 years and tbh, had written has best stuff by the time he was 22, imho. His newer stuff is not bad though but 50 years on it was never going to be as ground-breaking, was it?
@@GNeuman Agreed, I prefer the first stuff he wrote, especially under the Tubeway Army name , the Blue album which was very much guitar based with the synths added when he found one left in the studio he was recording in, and then of course the brilliant Replicas album. The sound and matching visual blew our minds. I got my hair bleached [my mother did not speak to me for a month lol] , wore all black and had the ear pierced ,loved it all.

Hi my friend just looking at your vid again and saw the Gary Numan stuff. Thats how it all started for me. Have you got/ heard the blue album, by Tubeway Army, that was my inspiration to learn guitar and start writing songs. I worked out every guitar part ,synth part , bass part ,vocal part to every song on that album, still love it to pieces. 'Somethings in the house' and 'Steel and you' and 'Shadow in Vain ' and 'Listen to the sirens' big favs, but not a track on that album I do not love.
Yes! First Numan album I was bought was Replicas, was a Xmas present for 1979 but couldn't wait, lol...Then got TPP for Xmas that year and in the New Year bought Tubeway Army with pocket money but by then it was the released version with the white cover... Yes, I learnt all the keyboard parts of Replicas and TPP on a Casio VL Tone then a Jen SX1000!!

Great you got the kittens from the shelter ,they are lucky. I am also on Telegram. So many millions are not buying the story, that is being pushed by the mainstream media. My only worry is ,that if those that suddenly realise the depth of betrayal react with violence , WE ALL LOSE. Thank you for posting these videos. People should now what's happening, there should be proof of violence, and the police and the governments should be held responsible. In every country obviously they try to pretend that everyone else is complying with giving up their freedom, but people are protesting, fighting for their freedom! It's comforting to now that all around the world people are fighting. And videos like yours will, I hope, once be proof of what has happened when they will try to make us forget what they did.
