I found it! for anybody interested, it's titled "Silk Paper Letters" by Leimoti.. I thought it was some sort of modernized arrangement of a traditional folk song or something such a lovely piece for such a lovely place
Martin, these videos are important and meaningful to more people than you know. Thank you for sharing. I hope you keep making videos of the lesser known parts of japan (but equally important) as well as your daily adventures 😁💪Ty

I am from NYC as well. Currently applying for pass port & Japan & Thailand are my two first visits. I subscribed to your channel. Loved this, I will try to reach out to you before I leave NY, Maybe you can give me some direction to a rural areas of this beautiful country.
Whatever makes me comfortable here in Hawaii - Pakalolo, but when in Japan I understand your pain bro. Don't forget I will soon retire in Shiga maybe one day you & your ohana can stop in and kick it.
You could make a killing buying and selling this stuff on eBay. I just saw in Japanese tv on this guy who started a site to export Japanese items not found outside Japan and doing great. Part of its reason is bc the Japanese take very good of their items and now the world is realizing that. I bought about 5 watches off eBay from the 90’s on eBay and from Japanese seller and they were used, but still like new. Yeah, the Japanese standard even for used is very high. I’m part Japanese and wondered where I got that quality from and now I know. How come everything is so cheap?! I would buy half the store and i love everything Japanese.
Very interesting. I am thinking about doing something like that. I really appreciate your input. The treasures I find here are essentially endless ✌️👨🏾🚀🇯🇵
Cool video. Your videos are always enjoyable. The randomness of Japan is what makes it so great. Monkeys, beautiful tea fields, old train cars, who knows what you'll find next. Please post more.
good to see youre back to posting again. for awhile it seemed like you were done. or maybe that was just me? who knows, just good to hear the rambles again
Yeah it is strangely exhausting to share. It’s hard to explain. Somehow being myself is really difficult. I have dozens of videos like this one but they felt forced or sad so I did not post. Today I had the spirit in me❤️👨🏾🚀🇯🇵✌️
Hey kid. Psst. Go where Japanese people want to meet foreigners or even Americans and practice their English. I think there is even a dread culture there.
I think I've watched this a dozen times now. You're a stranger on the other side of the world, but when you leave this place my heart is going to break a little
