I realize this is an old video, but if anyone can help me with this problem, I would really appreciate it. I am making these type of bracelets to sell and I know how to make them, but I cannot figure out how to get them the correct size. Let's say for example I want the bracelet opening to adjust between the sizes of 6 inches to 10 inches. How do I make this possible. Am I suppose to place the knots a certain distance apart, am I suppose to have a certain amount of double cord between the knots? I just can't figure this out :( Exact measurements are important to me so I can be consistent in my size offerings on my website.
By far the best tutorial! Thank you for a clear, precise and easy to follow tutorial. The color with black background, hands and cords not in the way of your visual. I was able to do it on the 1st try qith ny flemsy cord i wanted to use. I have this in my saves to refer back to as beeded
thats easy one thanks.. but please just use word right hand or left hand inyead or dominant and undominant its rather easy to explain and easy to understand for us too..
Really Nice video on this! Thank you!!!! I would love to have a link to the leather that you purchased for this because I never can find anything that's nice like this
I watched several other videos about making slipknots, but yours is the only one showing clearly how to begin the knot. So thanks to you I managed it at last! 🤗
I want to say what others have said... this is the BEST tutorial for these knots I have found. Was nearly going to give up on the knots as I couldn't get them to look nice so thank. you so very much for this!
* Your hands cover the working pieces & I can Not see which piece you pushed down & Thru. Remember ~ there are 2 tails & you could be using either of them .. SO FRUSTRATING...
Thanks a lot! I really dislike working with ropes and knots and the other tutorials on the sliding knot I saw where horrible. But this made me finally get it in 5 minutes
This is a very good video. Thanks. I have a section of braided wrapped rubber (bungee-type) cord on my kayak, and it is tied to non-elastic cord of the same diameter. The cords are joined using this type of knot, but from the manufacturer, they used 3 or 4 loops instead of just two. It looks fancy, but I wondered if it was better in any way. (I am about to replace the elastic cord because the rubber has lost most of its elasticity, and wanted to understand the knot choice by the mfr.) Thanks! (I did wonder how to "un-snip" something, though. :::chuckle::: 3:58)
I have to make a comment here because yours was the best video on this. I got cranky watching others, not being able to understand what I'm doing wrong, and then found this one and thank you for putting me out of my misery haha! You're great x
