I have to make a comment here because yours was the best video on this. I got cranky watching others, not being able to understand what I'm doing wrong, and then found this one and thank you for putting me out of my misery haha! You're great x
The best sliding knot video I've seen so far, and I've watched many. Your way is so easy to do and the knots come out perfectly clean. Thank you very much for this tutorial.
Greatly appreciate the left handed version, for even though I'm right hand dominate, I was able to successfully follow the left handed directions. Kept getting lost in all other tutorials with right hand dominance!
absolutely. when I would be trying to learn something my mother would say that awkward left hand. you know, you weren't born backwards, I was there and I would have remembered....
Ok I know every comment is saying this is the first tutorial that worked for them but I have to say the same! This was the simplest and easiest tutorial and you made sure not to only explain while talking but also zoomed on the knot, but were careful not to have your hands hide the work. Thank you so much, I finally fixed my broken bracelet that was a gift!!
I watched several other videos about making slipknots, but yours is the only one showing clearly how to begin the knot. So thanks to you I managed it at last! 🤗
The best tutorial! Thank you! Watched many other sliding knot tutorials and was getting frustrated. Yours is excellent! Very clear, finally a good tutorial.
Thank you sooo very much for flipping the video for us lefties. Although I'm used to reversing instructions in my head it's much easier to be able to see a left handed version
Thank you !!! Thank you!!! I have no experience with making knots. You made this so easy to understand. I was able to fix a necklace that I purchased in Costa Rica. I appreciate you sharing and teaching this technique. I just hope it doesn't fall off my neck.
By far the best tutorial! Thank you for a clear, precise and easy to follow tutorial. The color with black background, hands and cords not in the way of your visual. I was able to do it on the 1st try qith ny flemsy cord i wanted to use. I have this in my saves to refer back to as beeded
Thanks! I concur the other comments. I watched several videos and drawings and just couldnt master this simple knot. Your explanation using dominant and non-dominant hand seemed to be what worked in my brain. That seems to be why I couldnt get this down, I was using the wrong hand....
Thanks a lot! I really dislike working with ropes and knots and the other tutorials on the sliding knot I saw where horrible. But this made me finally get it in 5 minutes
best sliding knot for me.. i like that they are not too bulky.. you are a great teacher.. May you be greatly blessed for sharing this user-friendly and beautiful technique.. many thanks
very thorough!! thank you so much…….i have been creating for some time…..but I MY BRAIN LITERALLY THINKS through just about everything backwards sooooooo I still have to refresh myself on making QUALITY STURDY KNOTS………….some kind of mental block I have~!!~! I found your video and was very happy I have this to add to my refresher tutee!! oxoxoxoxox thx for sharing your knowledge n technique
After watching a complete fail by someone else offering a tutorial on this knot, I found this video to be refreshing and informative. Thank you for sharing!
Shelly, thanks so much! I've made a LOT of these...in my glass jewelry business it was a cost-effective way to offer my jewelry. If you liked it, check out Wubbers University...free tutorials on different media...wireworking, metalsmithing, it's pretty cool. Here's a link to a promotion we had last week...look at the end at the tutorials, it has the code to get into the site! www.wubbersu.com/cornerpunch Thanks again! - Kat Kramer
I so agree with you! I've failed so many times while watching other clips. Until I found this TOTALLY BRILLIANT tutorial! I'm lefthanded, but I still was able to follow the video. It's so comprehensive, that I had tied the knot (with my left hand) before I got to the part where she switched the video over to reverse it for us lefties!! BRILLIANT!!!
Really Nice video on this! Thank you!!!! I would love to have a link to the leather that you purchased for this because I never can find anything that's nice like this
This is a very good video. Thanks. I have a section of braided wrapped rubber (bungee-type) cord on my kayak, and it is tied to non-elastic cord of the same diameter. The cords are joined using this type of knot, but from the manufacturer, they used 3 or 4 loops instead of just two. It looks fancy, but I wondered if it was better in any way. (I am about to replace the elastic cord because the rubber has lost most of its elasticity, and wanted to understand the knot choice by the mfr.) Thanks! (I did wonder how to "un-snip" something, though. :::chuckle::: 3:58)
thats easy one thanks.. but please just use word right hand or left hand inyead or dominant and undominant its rather easy to explain and easy to understand for us too..
