I love how Frank Herbert explains in the later books like God Emperor and Heretics is that presience doesn't so much see the future as they see possibilities in multiple futures then cement the outcome with their own consciousness, Paul's second son Leto2 kept humanity Locked into his Golden path for 3,500 n many years after his death
This scene is so epic... that if there was any good writing behind it I would've loved it. Like I come back to watch because of the cool moment, but it just feels so meh. There was no reason that guy should be Agent Smith. That didn't make any sense. None of this movie did. It was just so bad, and the dialogue so clunky and lame. I don't blame the actors. The guy playing Agent Smith even does a great job here. The look on his face "I missed you," actually is great... but it just doesn't make sense. It felt so forced and dumb.
