I’ve been riding for 40 years now. I have owned or rode a bit of everything. Harley was always my favorite. I just traded in two Harleys for a new Indian Roadmaster. I couldn’t be happier. Harley didn’t want to treat me right, but Indian went over and above. The 116 thunder stroke is an awesome engine. Plus three ride modes. Sorry Harley. Do better.
Indian has just a few issues that would make them better if fixed. They don't seem to sponsor any rallies. They don't have enough dedicated Dealerships/Service centers, closed on Sundays, not enough 3rd party/ Aftermarket support. This all creates a brand recognition issue and why Harley is usually the first choice for anyone wanting a cruiser or bagger.
Honest? Harley hasn't had a bad review in decades, why? Cause they will ban you if you talk trash about their product. Harley acts like a 16 yo princess when it comes to bad reviews.
They don't build Harley Davidsons like they used to. Oil leaks, blown head gaskets, valves failing, lifters, push rods and gears breaking.... OH, WAIT, THEY DO STILL BUILD THEM LIKE THEY USE TO ! JUST KIDDING, HARLEYS ARE AWESOME.... 😅
Wrong about the audio!! That along with wind sucks on this bike! The sound system is trash and Harley should be ashamed of themselves! Dude you need to put it beside a 23 or lower bike and see witch bike has the best sound system 13:22 13:26 13:27
My man I have 3k on audio on my bike… I think I know audio…when I tell you that these new bikes have better stock audio than last year models believe me….anyhow is just your opinion. Thanks for the comment !!!
Thank you for the comment ✌🏼I guess a good thing now is that even the standard touring models have liquid cool heads previously not available unless you purchased a limited or ultra. But yes I agree with you.
@@HogWizard But, if HD still insists making air/oil cooled engines they really need to engineer better gaskets that can last longer than the warranty period.
Great video. I like some of the new features Harley has added to the new models. Of course the infotainment console is a huge improvement. Audio and new gas cap style.
The thing about that particular helmet, it's a race helmet. Down to the SNELL rating. It meant for high protection and high awareness. Which means you will hear *Everything*
The seat is from C.C Rider, and from what I understand Indian stopped making the jndian head light up , but you can’t put a led inside of it. Thanks for the comment !!!
Indian motorcycle company died. This new "indian" is an evolved Victory by Polaris. It was a good decision apparently for Polaris and has definitely paid off. Who knew people would by something because of a name.
Even though I like the Indian Motorcycle but both brands got amazing bikes indian and Harley motorcycles both look good customized at the end of the day it’s about riding motorcycles
I own a Dyna Wide Glide and planned to rent a Road Glide last summer, however, H-D's rental program wanted to charge me over $3,500 for 7 days rental that included "fees and extra prime/popular time usage charges." So, I rented an Indian Scout at a fraction of the price and was so happy to find an awesome comparison--especially their security system, no more locking up with extra wheel locks, cables, etc. You mentioned the power, nimbleness, and conveniences that I found to be true as well while watching your Road Glide comparison to the Indian. I'm even more convinced to switch to an Indian for my next new bike. Although I'm a huge fan of H-D and a Lifetime HOG member, I was dismayed and extremely disappointed last year to find out that Harley Davidson Dealerships will no longer service my older H-D model (seems if your bike is older than 10- 20 years most H-D Dealerships will not work on it, need to find another M/C mechanic). What a sad commentary about H-D Corporate after all the money I spent on this brand over the years! I must say that Indian Motorcycles are an awesome replacement for an H-D.
