This might be a long shot, but does anyone know what happened to the chilis pepper sculpture that was next to the entrance? We have pictures right next to it from 2011 and it seems to have been removed many years ago.
I hear you Jamie. Clever marketing and controlling how many they release at one time creates the demand. Kids were paying £15 per bottle at one stage- madness! I don’t mind paying $1.88 per bottle 😂
You’d be a rich man Andy! As you can probably tell, I’m all about the food. Especially after a 5am alarm and a 2.5 hour drive to Dublin. I was ready for it! Hope you enjoyed the video.

@@thekennafamilyadventures5 Not until next year, was thinking of flying from Bristol via Dublin to San Francisco and being able to do pre clearance, we live near Bristol.
@@mars2100 I’ve seen a few people do that with Aer Lingus who are from the mainland. Pre-clearance is a game changer. Never been to San Francisco- looks so good!
Can I ask you a question? I’m flying from Dublin to Chicago soon and want to take my friends some home made tablet and packets of sweets too. Would this be allowed? Thank you
Thank you so much for subscribing and for your question. You should have no issue taking those with you. Either in hold or cabin baggage. We travel with kids a lot and would go crazy without taking sweets with us! We’ve never had an issue taking any kind of food items with us. Enjoy your trip!
I don’t think you would have to declare it. It would depend on exactly what it was, I suppose. We’ve just downloaded that app too- looks like a game changer to reduce waiting the other side. Hope you have an amazing trip!
13:31 Pre clearance is so volatile. Went through in June, no queue and took literally 3 mins. Saw photos from a couple of weeks before this and the queue snaked under the escalators with long waits. I’d always recommend people to assume it’s gonna be busy just in case 🤞
Thanks Scott. Yeah, last few times it seems they are only putting US citizens through full security again, whereas non-US travellers bypassed it and went straight to border control. How was your epic US trip by the way?
@@thekennafamilyadventures5 loved it! Definitely not a relaxing trip, but those aren’t my style anyway! Drove just shy of 3500 miles between me and my dad and saw all sorts of landscape, met loads of different people and experienced 110°F heat 🥵 Used every form of transport too-car, plane, bus, train and boat 🤣
Great video, thanks for the review. Yes this plane, the A321neo us also used by easyjet, this is just a modified version for long haul flights and they're becoming the future of long haul air travel with variants of this being made for even longer flights to places like florida from Europe

There was a Rainforest Cafe in a local mall here decades ago. It was always a fun experience, nice step away from an urban environment. This one is much larger, more elaborate. A great fit within a Disney setting. Sorry about the restrooms...all those primates throwing things around and whatnot...😁
I had heard they closed a few down. I think they found that their restaurants work well in high-tourist areas best. We don’t have any in Northern Ireland so love to go when we are away. Thanks for watching 😀

Definitely! We certainly did - 14 hours was insane and totally unplanned. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow especially with a 6 year old. I thought Esme did amazing 👏

I live in Orlando. So glad to hear that you got have some steak and shake and enjoyed it. I’m just so sorry you didn’t get the full restaurant experience with waitresses. It was so much better with the waitresses, and old time American diner type experience. Hate to get political, but the minimum wage rate hikes are what drove off the need or affordability of having waitresses in favor of the kiosks. They wanted to help wait staff in restaurants earn more money, and all they did was effectively eliminate their jobs instead!

@@grahamdaly4172 hi Graham, thanks for watching. I’m not that bothered. I was on a work trip so wouldn’t have been drinking much anyway. It was more of the point that it’s the only carrier that doesn’t offer it and the flights don’t cost any less. United and America. Are normally cheaper in price. I’ve flown Aer Lingus again recently and had a more positive experience. Vlog will be up next week.
Had a similar experience when I flew from Dublin- Cleveland with them. Hot drink after dinner and then nothing else all flight till the snack. I had to go ask a few times as well. Thankyou for sharing your planned view on it and know it’s probably the standard service on that airline 😂

Mom accidentally set off the EAS (Esme Alert System) when trying to snag that croissant...too funny! Both of you are brave for going on some pretty exciting rides together. Won't be long before Esme's height will no longer hold her back, she's growing so fast! Seems to me that the French have a solid grasp on the Disney vibe. You two clearly had a great day! 👍
