The problem with Kenshi is that there is just not much going on. The world is amazing and the atmosphere is great but once you visit all the places, figure out how to level your stats and where the best loot is, the game is pretty much over. This is an RPG and RPGs rely on exploration. I remember building a really large and cool base only to to feel despair once I finished because the game was already over and building that base was a completly pointless.
I installed "bigger badder bosses" and well long story short. Me and my squad are in prison with him xD Long story. I hired mercaneraries from squinn ( hiver versions ) went to the waystation south of the dust king tower and hired more mercenary's ( now i had a mix of shek and hiver mercs ) should be easy right? Well everyone of us is locked up right now. I managed to escape with beep and save shryke from bleeding out. Currently waiting for night and brought a group of tech hunters as distraction.
Heavily modded game. Regular shriekers only carry cleavers. Nothing more. As for dealing with them? You can fight them if you want, but a more time efficient way is to just stop at the edge of a group and wait. One of them will want to talk to you, to which you then go: 1. I dont understand what youre saying. 2. (back away slowly) After this you will be left alone until you return to the area again.
the amount of lucky escape from episode 1 is crazy. bro is just looting anyone without care and attempting to run away with a bag full of their loot, really surprised he survived 100 days that way 😂
i am about 2 hours in the video after watching the first 12 houre video, thank you for those long entertaining videos :) i just wanted to mention, if you want to expand your freigther base, a silver mine, with some mineral extractors are realy helpfull, cause crinding silver is such a pain in the backside.
Do you have any idea how this game works with a controller? I'm thinking about getting it but I mostly play games on my steam deck. I cant find any info about it anywhere
Wow... the game looks like it was made on the RenPy engine, mainly for Visual Novels. It feels nice to see the RPG and strategy elements in it. Thanks for the review.
I'm actually sick of every Kenshi video turning into cyberpunk 2077 or whatever tf it's called, cybernetics aren't the best in this game and I'll die on that hill there honestly hot dog shit
you need more wheelbarrows for boulders to get moved faster, i hated all the rocks and one day i make like 20 wheelbarrows and assigned them to my stone stockpile and boom all my rocks were clearing out :)
I don't know why devs always feel the need to make prequels a million zillion yet in the past yet still in mad Max mode. It's kinda hard to believe that no progress was made. Should have just made it a few centuries prior. All the same I hope this game is more stable and functional and as good as the first
