Great job! i like how minimal your collection is but has good variety. I tend to try to put alot of my makeup stuff in my drawers since I hang up majority of my clothes. Reminded me to move around some of my makeup items. The perfumes look so cute in the spinning tray.

I have been using packing cubes since they came out! I LOVE that they keep everything uber organized! But I highly recommend the compression ones! Those are the best! One benefit for packing cubes that many don’t think about is that they may keep your items safe. On recent trip, my suitcase broke open while being handled, the contents all spilled out. But because I had everything in both packing cubes and pouches (I am one of those uber organized people) nothing was lost or damaged (other than the suitcase itself).
I love the Bagsmart toiletry bag, it has become my go-to every time I travel! And I have recently become a packing cube convert!! I have the Quince compression packing cubes and I'm obsessed with them. I totally get it now! The level of organization you can achieve with packing cubes is unmatched. Especially now that we have a baby, it makes it SO much easier to organize each of our clothing into our own packing cube. I didn't think about the perk of having everything contained if something happened to your suitcase! That's so great. Thank you for sharing and for watching my video!
I got the Bagsmart one as my toiletries bag, mind you it JUST has toiletries and nothing else. I originally got the medium size and then returned it and got the large size. Been using it for awhile now and I am really happy with it!

My first and only thought for those snaps are to snap around a stroller handle! I'm not sure that's what they are intended for, but that's my instant thought that came to mind.
Have you used the crossbody bag since you've posted this review? How is the quality of the stitching/seams, exterior and interior? I'm seeing a decent amount of 1 - 3 star reviews on The Foldie Amazon store where customers are saying the seams have started to come apart already. All reviews are within this year. Foldie currently has a crossbody bag promo for BOGO and it's making me wonder if they're trying to just clear inventory of this design flaw.
Also, your review has been the only one I've found that mentions the crossbody bag. And while I'm back here I should say your review of the Foldie travel bag is pretty thorough, comparing the previous version to the new one. Thumbs up.
I have used the crossbody bag, mostly as my go-to bag to use when walking our dog. The interior and exterior stitching looks good on mine, but I haven't put it through everyday wear and tear, so I would definitely consider those Amazon reviews when deciding to purchase! I feel like what I use it for makes it so it's used gently because I'm not throwing it around my car the way I do my everyday bags. 😂
Just received mine. It was a struggle to fold up. Wish they would have shipped it in that way so it’s easier to fold the first time. I’m going on trips Sept & Oct and hoping this suits my needs. Glad I’m not the only one who struggled to get it folded 😂
I'm soon moving to Chicago for my masters.. it's gonna be my first time in the United States. I'm really terrified cus as much as I don't want to research about this place and that how unsafe it is, I end up doing it and knowing all about the crimes there and also sometimes I feel like my death awaits me there in Chicago loll. Damn girl you are good at being minimal! Good job! If I’m going somewhere for 5 days or less then I put some of the creams in contact lens cases which are so tiny. Works great when I’m doing carryon as some of my makeup is liquid not cream. But again I’ll say I’m impressed!

Thanks for all this info. I put my toiletry bags that are fabric in the washing machine. The plastic inside has always done well. I always think I want to be minimal but honestly if I’m going on a fun trip I want options also. So if I have room for some extras I take them.

I wanted it to work too! I think if I was only going to pack makeup in there, it could work, but I was really looking for something that could fit all of my skincare/makeup/beauty products. I feel you on the toiletry cases and sets. I was surprised I had five sets of them and then a few smaller ones. My friend and her two girls had a trip in the spring and needed toiletry bags and I offered to just give them. 🤩 I kept my favs and here I am, watching you share your favs 🤣

I got the Merit brow gel and I LOVE it!! I got their pencil too and really like it. I think I might like the Merit brow gel even more than the Glossier. I love that a very small amount of product comes out on the wand of the Merit one but you still get great color pay off and it goes on evenly! It's exactly what I was looking for. okay, I took advantage of the BOGO offer, and wish I hadn't. This thing is ridiculously hard to fold, no matter how many times I practice. The bottom is so bulky, you can't get it to make that darn "square", and zippering it up is going to break the zipper some time soon. I have a similar bag from Walmart that, while not foldable, holds more and costs less. Not sending back, as I got rid of all the tags, etc, but it won't be my go to travel bag, either. I'll gift them, probably. Sorry, not happy with this product.

Tabs could be used to hold the sides together while folding. I tried it. Seems to work and folding the sides after you fold the handles and top is THE WAY TO GO! So much easier. Tried the tab snaps to hold it all together 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Maybe the tabs can be used when the bag is under the seat on airplanes. Clip it around the leg of the seat to keep the bag from sliding around under there.
I have and love the Bagsmart version of the diagonal zip case and it's very nice quality. No complaints here. The other bags you have are way to big for me. After watching you not fit your stuff in it...I do think you could slim down the skincare but you should take what you want girl! No shaming here. For me, I always carry on, so I have all my liquids in a tsa clear bag and then everything else I need fits perfectly. When I'm at my destination, wash/cleanse skincare etc., goes on the vanity, shower stuff in the shower and that leaves the bag to have the rest of my skincare and makeup.
I agree, I absolutely could bring less! I think my realistic skincare list when I'm traveling could be pared down to something to wash/cleanse, moisturizer, and SPF. So like 3-4 products? I'm always so tempted to bring serums and toner and then I'm like, GIRL you do not need all this stuff, especially if it's a shorter trip. 😂
Great video I found watching you fold that up very informational because I have trouble getting mine folded up and that made sense on your instructions. When the bag is extended at the bottom, does it still meet personal item carry-on restrictions I didn’t know if when it’s extended, if it would still fit under the seat in front of you?

Got both to take on an upcoming trip to Greece. :) No clue what the snap is for (it's totally random), but the hook you refer to as a key holder is to clip through the zipper pulls so they can't be opened by pickpockets. It was one of the features that sold me on the bag beside the RFID.

This has become one of my favorite bags that I own! I used it almost every day of the rest of winter and into spring and I don't see any wear on the bag. The leather has softened up a little bit, which I love, but it still holds its shape. One thing I really love about it is that it doesn't slide off my shoulder, which a lot of shoulder bags tend to do on me. I usually avoid shoulder bags for that reason! I really can't say enough good things about it. I feel like the color I got (chocolate raisin) is the perfect fall/winter color and I can't wait for fall to come so I can carry it again. 😂 It really is a beautiful bag! I mentioned this in another comment and I can't remember if I mentioned it in the video, but if you sign up for the Madewell free rewards program, you get a coupon around your birthday that's either $10 or $20 off (I can't remember which!) and you can combine that with a sale! So when I bought mine, it was included in the sale Madewell had going and I used my birthday coupon. Just a little tip! :)

If you’re flying, all your liquids can go in your clean TSA bag and the rest should fit in the case. I use stick perfume, stick retinols for under eyes and toothpaste tablets and that saves alot of space too.

Good video. I’d like to know how the Quince suitcase holds up to baggage handling. I wanted to buy this luggage but I always look up their customer service reviews and they are not good at taking care of issues. Just my opinion. I’m thinking of buying an inexpensive check in bag at TJ Max or Nordstrom rack because I’m reading none of the check ins last long.
I love the checked shorts, black pants, hoodie and striped dress. You could have the sides taken in for the most flattering shape. Easy alteration. I have a linen long sleeve shirt. When I first tried it on, the sleeves felt tight. I wore it around the house. The sleeves relaxed and felt great. So glad I kept it. Great video.
