PRODUCTIVE DAY IN MY LIFE | sunday reset, reading goals, review of Madewell Essential Bucket Tote

This has become one of my favorite bags that I own! I used it almost every day of the rest of winter and into spring and I don't see any wear on the bag. The leather has softened up a little bit, which I love, but it still holds its shape. One thing I really love about it is that it doesn't slide off my shoulder, which a lot of shoulder bags tend to do on me. I usually avoid shoulder bags for that reason! I really can't say enough good things about it. I feel like the color I got (chocolate raisin) is the perfect fall/winter color and I can't wait for fall to come so I can carry it again. 😂 It really is a beautiful bag! I mentioned this in another comment and I can't remember if I mentioned it in the video, but if you sign up for the Madewell free rewards program, you get a coupon around your birthday that's either $10 or $20 off (I can't remember which!) and you can combine that with a sale! Yay I'm so glad!! I need to revisit this energy today for another Sunday reset. 😂 So for books, I love a good mystery/thriller so I read those often but I usually read a book in a different genre in between mystery/thrillers so I'm not ready dark things all the time. 😂 I love the Thursday Murder Club books for lighthearted mystery stories. It has unconventional main characters (four seniors who live in a retirement village), which I love, and the mysteries are intriguing. They can be laugh-out-loud funny but also have weirdly helped me grapple with getting older? Such good books! Some other mystery/thrillers I've read recently and liked are "Local Woman Missing" by Mary Kubica, which had an absolutely mind-blowing twist, and The Chestnut Man by Søren Sveistrup, which was fantastic but I will warn you was REALLY dark and had some graphic violence. The book was super good but it was too much for me at times. (Like I skipped ahead of some violent scenes lol.) So now to my palate cleanser books lol, I love Emily Henry books! I also loved Malibu Rising and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, both by Taylor Jenkins Reid. (I really didn't like Daisy Jones and the Six but that seems to just be me lol.) If you have any recommendations, let me know!!

The strap doesn't slide off my shoulder, which is something that tends to annoy me with shoulder bags, and it fits so much without feeling heavy. For a leather bag, it is so lightweight! I really love it.
