Thanks, you really helped me! You are able to make clear the logic behind it all, by connecting the dots for us. My wp site is online, but not yet with SSL, and I need to work out the urls, because I had my site first only local accessable.
@@gabrieledore1264 I could not fix it. There are several ways to 'turn' your private ip into public. But i dont remember any of them right now. google it: "How to turn my private ip into public to host apache server"

For anyone still wanting to download the tools, click download, and then Remove the "www." from itechgeek.com www.iteachgeek.com/helpfultools/mysql.zip ----> iteachgeek.com/helpfultools/mysql.zip otherwise it does not start the download. Figured it out myself..
hello do you mean his/her webpage/website/webapp is only visible in their local network and NOT out on the www internet?? i want to be able to host my own webpages w/ou ta webhost or cloud server at some point down the road; Lisa
@@universenerdd hello thxz for yout reply; so can i host my webapp from my own computer to be accessed by anyone Live on the Net/Web? i belive its set my own DNS in my hosts file and port forwarding and firewall and machine needs to be on 24/7???; Lisa
@@pjmclenon it's not effecient to host your web app from your own computer, it's must not shutdown, but you can use hosting services on internet to host your web app
