That K-18 Damage Shield Shampoo and Conditioner are the worst products in the line. It's not just you. Shampoo made my hair tangled and the conditioner had no slip. The K-18 Detox Shampoo and Leave in Hair Mask are the stars in the line. I can't comment on their oil because I haven't used it.
The shampoo I tried from K18 was the Peptide one 🫣 my aunt passed along the damage shield one a few weeks ago because she wasn't a fan either!! Now I'm scaredddd.
@@MinksKinks Hmmmm….K-18’s Peptide Prep Detox Shampoo comes in a green and white bottle. The bottle that is sitting on your bookshelf, behind you in this video, is a blue and white bottle. Unless the coloring is off in the video…I have a suspicion what happened here. Can you confirm the color on your bottle?
@@kimlaoconnor1 yeah, both of mine are in blue and white bottles. Both the peptide prep and the damage shield. I’m assuming they changed the color to that greenish color after I’d already purchased.
@@MinksKinks The authentic K18 Pepetide Prep Detox has always been green and white. That was the only shampoo they offered before they rolled out the Damage Shield shampoo and conditioner for “daily maintenance”. If my suspicion is right, you did not receive an authentic K18 product. That’s been happening to a lot of people recently. It all depends where you originally purchased it from. I can even tell that the writing under the words “Peptide Prep” that it’s not the correct words that’s on their authentic product 😢

I was going to ask if you got a trim because I can tell from that bounce 😂. A fresh trim makes a huge difference. Did you record it by any chance? I also recently used this brand but for my first time ever. So far so good and i will definitely buy more to try. Do you find that these products last as long as store brand products though? I have had my products since the spring and i am starting to see some changes in the product but nothing drastic. I wanted to see if anyone else experienced the same. Great video as always.
A hugeeee difference! I didn’t catch any on film ☹️ brought my camera and still forgot. So far, I find that the products do last well. I’ve had one open over a year and it seems to be okay. A few people recommend the gel in the fridge and that has been great. Thanks for watching 💛

Hey Mink! Your hair looks goodt!🤩🤩 The shape and the twist out results. The shampoo and leave-in are my faves from the line, but the cream is good too. It has a bunch of hold that you wouldn't think it has and the definition is undeniable. My twist out lasted a while, but it did have a coating that I am not a fan of. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

@@MinksKinks ***Update***Hi Mink, As promised in I think another post where I said I did used the product line and loved it the application process. I had twisted up my hair for a couple of days and was waiting for the end results upon the take down. I did, and it came out wonderfully. Just upset that I was only able to wear it out for 1 day. No fault of the product, but rather mother nature. It's been sooo windy that I had to put it up in a high pony tail. Thankfully still defined, just wind tossed. 😁
