Happy Labor Day 🎉. Here I go with my soliloquy: As for the one and done, you can try however, I’ve never been to any professional that skips leave in. They usually just use a spray and stay away from the thicker creams but a leave in has never been a step that they’ve skipped. As for aveda I have tons of confidence in them. Long before they started making “colored/textured” hair products, I went to a natural hairstylist twice a yr for trims and it was an aveda exclusive salon and I’ve always loved them. And that was before RU-vid university. As for your curly cut, idk it has such bad reviews and since you straighten once a yr anyway that’s the best time for your stylist to assess your strands and do their best trimming anyway. Lastly, I haven’t fallen in love with any of The Doux’s products. And that’s ok, I only need what works not everything will work for everyone.
Not Soliloquy 😂😂😂😂 omg! One and dones are fun to try but I don’t see me doing them too often. I keep hearing that about curly cuts. I guess I will keep stretching for now lol!
Hey Mink! Your hair looks so full and fluffy. The Bee Girl Custard will definitely give a stronger hold -- almost too hard for my fine hair, and I have to use a leave-in with it. Yeah, like you mentioned, it just might work better in the cooler months. Thanks for sharing b/c I have not tried this one from The Doux yet.
Heyyyyy! Thank you! Okay, definitely excited to compare big poppa and bee girl. The glycerin so high up during this weather is a no go for me. Keeping my fingers crossed for the cooler months! 🤞🏾✨
Your wet results looked really awesome! Nice and shiny when it dried. I think your dry results also looked amazing too even though you didn’t like it. I tried this gel, but this had no slip going on my hair. I even tried adding more water, but this thing made my ends tangled. Then, being in Florida, my hair turned into an afro the next day. I returned it. I don't know how others get it to work for them. Lastly, my vote is for NO curly cut! 😉
I don’t hate the results but they just didn’t live up to the hype for me, especially in the summer! I can imagine your hair swelled so quickly in that Florida humidity! Not the no on the curly cuttttt 😭
I think that this wash & go is cute. I get what you mean with it being too frizzy. Fingers crossed 🤞 that this gel works for you during the fall months. Tfs.
I liked your results! Just wanted to say I thought just like you about products with glycerin high up in the ingredients list during summer BUT the new Ennba gel has definitely changed my perspective. It too has glycerin as the 2nd ingredient and is touted as an anti-humidity gel. I finally decided to try it after many great reviews and boy oh boy does it live up to the claims! No other gel I've tried has been able to stand up to this DC humidity!
Your hair came out beautiful to me❤ I will say this gel is kinda hyped up though. I tried it and it was okay but I wasn’t blown away. But hey your results were nice❤by the way do you have heat damage on your hair? Just wondering because when I got heat damage products didn’t perform the same for me anymore. As for a curly cut I say go for it ❤ I’m not a professional or anything but it may help if you’re looking to avoid heat damage.
Thank you! I agree, it’s good but idk about all the hype. I’m hoping it’ll be better for the fall. I don’t have any heat damage, this is just the way my hair naturally grows. Thanks for watching 💛
Hey my girl, I feel like this product would look cute with a half of half down or even like bantu knots in the front and let it get big in the back you know what I mean?
