And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30)
Very professional and simple plus educational You mention that the Hydro test is every 5 years Unfortunately In Australia the most over governed over legislated diving industry in the world I am not sure if it is the aim of the government to destroy the recreational diving industry in Australia Many dive shops are closing in Australia not due to safety but excessive bureaucracy I personally have been a Dive Instructor since 1983 I no longer teach diving in Australia I am sure the diving industry in America is as safe or safer than Australia Its a shame we have great diving If you are interested to see what we dont want for the diving industry in other parts of the world have a look at To show you how absurd this legislation is A recreational SCUBA Instructor must have a Commercial Diver medical form a dive physician Imagine if you had a dive school like I did with 50 cylinders and they have to be hydro tested every 12 months plus an eddy flow test For reference www.worksafe.qld.gov.au/your-industry/diving-and-snorkelling/diving-laws
What if you see an undiscovered animal swimming by you... Then you will accidentally unhold your breath out of panic, breath in so much water and die by mistake. Smh that can really startle you while underwater. Js and if you are all the way at the bottom inside so many twists and turns in the cave structure, you will not have time to resurface for air. 😬 Nope. Won't cave dive. Sorry. Not for me.
thats your worry? lmfao thats never gonna happen. you wont find a fucking leviathan, shark, or even a fish in caves like that. the most you might find is a little shrimp or something like that. you rbig worries should be: losing a line and panicking, all flashlights malfunctioning, running out of air, getting lost (diving without a line to begin with), and panicking out of clausterphobia. the clausterphobia one is the thing that gets almost everyone, even if you dont think you have it you will probably start to panic, resulting in your death likely.
I’m torn. New diver who wants a bpw as my first bcd. I plan to travel to where it’s warm and do some cold water diving (Lake Michigan, hopefully with a drysuit eventually). Is it reasonable to get one bpw to cover both situations? I’m thinking stainless with 30lb lift..
I personally travel with a SS Backplate and a 35lb wing. I have a set of 5lb weight pockets on each hip that I rarely have to use in warm water locations in a thin wetsuit however in cold water that is the first area I store weights. If I'm in a drysuit and require more weight I have two trim pockets on my top cylinder band behind my lungs. I highly recommend this set up for a single tank traveling Great Lakes diver 👍
I've been in one of these. Somewhat ominously there were several snapped lines floating, and one cable that continued down into the dark. They usually put these signs where someone had died, well, at the point it was determined they got lost. Never ever do this stuff without an experienced, trusted guide. Bravery will serve you well for most things but in an underwater cave one foolhardy decision means death.
No, they place these signs at places where the cavern (cave where you can still see some daylight) turns into cave (completely dark). Caverns can be dived with guides by regular divers and common gear. Caves require training and redundant gear. You'll find these signs in caves that have a chance of untrained people finding their way inside. Source: I'm a trained cave diver.
It is a shame that this wasn’t given a full review with the knowledge of the full system DIVEVOLK has. It is possible to use this house with Drysuite gloves, and have accessories/filters/lenses/lights attached. Personally, I believe it would be difficult to find a better phone housing on the market today that has as many options and give the user full access to all their Apps on the phone.
Guys there is acutally really creepy things down there (like ghosts and really scary figures from the people who died from exploring the cave) but they don't put it on the sign!
