The inlet needle, metering lever, pin, and spring. You didn't show how to reassemble these and that's what I need to see. The spring keeps bouncing out.
anyone know if they make a spiral kit to replace the basic diaphragm D20-WYA? Walbro sales dept tells me K3 will not work on the WYA-32 as this is a fixed jet carburetor
Hi , can I use a needle from K20-WYJ kit or K10-WY kit on WYL 287A carb ? Gaskets and membrans looks the same . Cant find any WYL kits with needle in my country

I just bought a new carb that looks like that for a leaf blower. $11.01 price with tax included, free shipping. It comes with the carb, fuel lines, air filter, fuel filter, gaskets and spark plug. That is cheaper than buying all those rebuild tools plus the rebuild kit containing the diaphragm and gaskets. If you have extra money, nothing better to do with a couple hours of your life, go for it and fix that eleven dollar carb. None of the small engine repair guys around here will look at a big box store, cheap leaf blower. Their hourly rate is $90.00 an hour plus parts. If you bring one to them they will tell you to throw it in the trash and buy a new one. It is not worth their time and buying a new one is cheaper unless you can replace the carb yourself or rebuild the carb yourself. I went the new carb route.
This video is useless for people who need to adjust the fuel balance. If Walbro needs to say legal disclamers telling consumers not to do something, then it should say them, but then immediately give the information on how to do it for training mechanics who need to learn how to do their job. This video was a useless waste of time! (Except for the part about ethanol fuel. That was nice.)
The model numbers are hidden because they are useless products. I have a homelite blower which relied on a WYL carburetor 6A 652. It never worked. Being busy with my job I did not use it within the guarantee period and teh company I bought it from though a national company failed . The tuning screws were not visible. . I have wasted so much time because of this. Walbro thinks its doing such a good job, well not if the stupid things don't work. Currently trying to fix the stupid machine many years after originally buying it., having bought an electric one. Hating Walbro is sadly not far off how I really feel. What did they think they were adding to customer care. DO they think people will fiddle with it when they don't know what they are doing? I doubt very much that very many would be returned to Walbro because of this, and certainly not more than the number of faulty useless products that come with Walbro carbs
I like it how they call the high and low idle screws "tamper resistant" like the owner is "tampering" with something they aren't supposed to. If I buy something, it's mine and I can "tamper" with it all I want. It's my property.

Great improvement. I had to replace several diaphrams on my small engines over the years. Can a pump diaphram made the same way, especially the check valve flaps? May have to be a hybrid stainless and mylar/rubber. Stainless flaps and mylar/rubber pump.

Good info, but I have a Echo Chainsaw CS-310, it has a Walbro WT 1089 carb.. but I do not see any -# .. with no dash number what do I use for model number in a search ? The web-site has changed from this video, btut when I do arrive ar PArts lookup area it does not find a WT-1089 carb. What rebuild kit is used in this Carb...
Are you showing 2 different model carbs in your Butterfly Valve discussions? There's one carb (detailed view at 3:00) you take off the weedeater that has 2 fuel lines (inlet & return) where the 2 ports are metal, one on the carb body and one on the pump cover. You then use this carb to explain the pressure testing with your pressure tester 57-11 from 3:00 to 4:00. Then you cut to another model carb at 4:00 which has only a black plastic barbed inlet and no port on the pump cover and you pressure test it, but you don't say anything about this being a completely different model carb. This is the carb you use to explain all the details of rebuilding from 5:13 to 10:00 and from 11:28 to 12:00. Then at 11:20 you go back to the original 2 line carb and re-install it onto the weedeater. This was confusing to me until I realized you were using 2 different model carbs and weren't rebuilding the carb you took off the weedeater. Am I right about this? Or am I thoroughly confused?
